Mario for me. Without him we wouldn't of won. His runs made us play more direct.

Mario changed the game, so him for me. 3 pts are a lot better than 1 and we've him to thank.

Richards for me. He was great in defense as well as surging down the right and getting some balls into the box.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

That was frankly odd!

Lescott was excellent again. Clichy and Micah too.

Micah for me too. Provided some width which we badly needed the way Everton set up and was prepared to take players on.

Clichy for me has been a great buy so far and thought we really missed him against Napoli.

That means we wouldn't have had Kolarov on the pitch to take the free kick.
Clichy would've had to have been brilliant to give us more than a draw.

Admittedly, I wasn't at the ground for the game, but from what I saw, Clichy seemed to be a weak spot in our game plan. Not as a player, but if we'd had Kolarov there, he'd have been able to lift balls into the box, which Clichy failed to do, playing the ball on the ground the whole time.

With hindsight (which obviously the manager doesn't have when choosing an XI), I'd have played Kolarov and Milner instead of Clichy and Nasri, as Everton's main defensive tactic was to get bodies into the box while those two spent time tapping the ball around. I think we'd have broken them far sooner, and maybe run riot, had we been a bit more decisive.
