Admittedly, I wasn't at the ground for the game, but from what I saw, Clichy seemed to be a weak spot in our game plan. Not as a player, but if we'd had Kolarov there, he'd have been able to lift balls into the box, which Clichy failed to do, playing the ball on the ground the whole time.
With hindsight (which obviously the manager doesn't have when choosing an XI), I'd have played Kolarov and Milner instead of Clichy and Nasri, as Everton's main defensive tactic was to get bodies into the box while those two spent time tapping the ball around. I think we'd have broken them far sooner, and maybe run riot, had we been a bit more decisive.
