What is he?
A defender?
Midfielder?
Attacker?
None of the above?
Answers on a postcard, please!!!!

He's a talented player as PART of a functioning midfield, not a Roy Cunt type player who can sprint around tirelessly, filling gaps left by a side effectively playing with 4 forwards. Also, Barry is the wrong partner in that formation as he's too slow to always be the cover when Yaya's legs go. If we are going to play that many attackers in the Champions lg, they must get behind the ball. We are getting left man for man at the back, with runners coming. It's causing the team to become nervous & it's fucking amateurish. Mancini is making a cunt of himself, it's basic stuff, as is having width at home, which we also lack.

Loads to learn as a club all round tonight

He always was a center half and not a full back.

I think we need to cut Mancini some slack here....Tevez refusing to go on screwed up all his 3 subs.
Turns out I was right:phips wrote:i'd like to think he's bringing NDJ on to try and keep it 2-0 until Mancini brings on Tevez and tries to chase it with ~25 min left.
He wanted to keep it 2-0 and then bring Tevez in to try and tie it up or win it.
Then, he refused and we had no more strikers on the bench left and he only really had Milner and Kolarov as attacking options to come on. Tevez ruined the whole sub process tonight..not really Mancini's fault.

Is there a special rule in the Champions League preventing you making two subs at once? We were 2-0 down and he replaced a striker with a DM, regardless of what he thought he might do 5-10 mins later that is madness
