Not as many times as Norwich did today.

I've been very critical of him but he was excellent today. Looked sharp from the word go, showed for the ball and was a real spearhead for us.

More importantly, no drama, no bollox.

More of the same please, Mario.

We've had false dawns before, but today, the FA cup final and his league cup game the other week, are 3 very strong performances, less throwing himself about, less tantrums, and he fucking loved scoring his goal today, smiled as wide as Micah does!

great finish, did well towards the end but some of his early passing was appalling,

Got to say for my money that was his best erformance in a city shirt. Looked lively, inventive, hard working and for once in tune with his teammates.

Thats a top class centre forwards game. Just need 38 a season or so and he'll be a legend.

If..and granted it's a rather large if...If Balo can cut out his histrionics..he is the most naturally gifted player at this club..miles ahead of both Kun and Edin combined..the lad is just out of his teens and is quite frankly frightening

Ah but then you are obsessed with him so I'll forgive your over-estimation of his abilities.

Balos weakest point is his passing as was mentioned above...its quite fucking shocking...if he can sort this out then he would be the bolloks.(taking into account he wont turn into a petulant spastic on the pitch again.)

Not sure he's more naturally talented than Kun Argyface tbh. Kun hasn't got out of 1st gear yet & all the 'give him time' stuff that Mario got, also should be taken into consideration with K.A even though he keeps scoring. He will get better.

Let's see how Aguero looks this time next year & then compare.

Having said that, Mario will compare with most of history's best ever 20 year olds if he carries on like this. ' IF' .

This was an important time for him though, because if he'd chucked a sulky & not tried, I recon Bob would have put him on the same bus as Tevez. The fact he's behaved like an adult & put a shift in means more thaan the brilliant bits imo. He seems like he wants to play for us.

Let's hope he can now get through this week without dissing us & licking the arse of AC Milan.

He had a great game. I have just one piece of advice for him and I hope someone gets this to him: "If you get knocked down or fall/trip over, GET UP! Sharpish.

2 or 3 times the game passed him by while he was sooking on the ground. We could have done with his help. Other than that, a great game. Well done.

Don't see the point in comparing Balo to Kun.

Balo has really matured and has shown without doubt he can lead the line for us. I love how he made the volley yesterday look so easy.

I actually think that the camaraderie between Silva, Aguero, Dzeko, Johnson, Nasri, Balotelli looks spot on. Tevez's bench antics in Munich could be just what we need in terms of pulling everyone together.

Some very good performances yesterday, KolOrov...or Kolarov looked excellent, Zabba did his usual and I thought Milner was very good in the middle with Yaya (who also was improved on performances to date).

Did anyone else read that the number 32 shirt was given to Pantymelons yesterday? Good. Fuck Tevez and keep him right away from everyone.

yap he s a huge fun of AC milan he is so crazy that in one interwew when he play for Internacionale say before the game against AC milan that he is fun of AC milan since he was yung and still is , that when i first time see that he s a litlle crazy ..But Berlusconi say to the press in Italy that ballo is a greath player but club like AC milan have reputation to maintain and Balloteli behavior somthimes border with the spoiled child, so I doubt that will ever go in AC Milan, especially as there are now Robhino, Ibrahimovic, Cassano, Pato

It's a wide open door for Mario. With Tevez shitting the bed, the door is huge and gaping for Mario to walk through and become the star striker on the world's richest team. Looked today like some of the penny had dropped.

It didn't happen mate. The club have confirmed that he wore number 30.
