Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

We were praised. Even if they continued to slag us off, provided they had a decent argument they have every right to do so. You lap it up when they slag of other clubs but get all haughty when we're the one's in the firing line, which we weren't.
Grow up and stop being so precious.
Sorry Dazby - but on this subject you should (IMO) get off your high horse - we all (well at least it seems most) see it differently - and when that happens in life i have always tended to question if I am perhaps wrong.
Now on a related subject - and I do not know the answer so perhaps I will end up agreeing that SKY is even-handed and eat some humble pie (actually hope so), - but given the way that SKY played that shinned effort from granny shagger again and again - is Mario's quality overhead kick even one of their goals of the month candidates??

I would go do one if I was you as you clearly haven't a clue what this whole anti City Bias is all about....carry on reading the billabong times.

@ Ted, it is a FACT that the centre of the universe is at the end of my knob. ;-)
@ 1632. Of course they are biased. The show is about journos giving their opinions on the main stories of the day. The rags and dippers have the most fans, of course they are going to talk about them more. If we get more fans that could change. Even so, we are still being talked about more than ever.
@ Carl. Whilst at work I listen to football podcasts ALL day. If any clubs are being treated poorly at the moment it's Newcastle, for not getting enough credit for their good run, and Huddersfield for their 40 something game unbeaten run.
I tell you what, that Ian Cheeseman is biased. All he talks about is City and how good they are...

Oh and another thing, that Carlfeedthegoat, he's so biased against Lescott. He shouldn't be allowed to say such things. Someone should put a Klingon mask over his face to shut him up.

A fabrication of journalists.
Smith is a wanker. Nearly as bad as Lipton.
I liked how the other two tittered over his "drocanian" fuck up.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

There are more
Anti City bias cunts out there than any other club and its been that way since we won the fucking lottery....................this is a fact but you cannot see it.
We have every right to have a go back, so instead of slagging off the fans you should do more homework than just listening to some fucking podcasts as these cunts are more than a "few".

That's complete bollocks. It's not the fact that they're not saying nice things about our club it's more to do with the fact that week in week out they use the Sunday Supplement to have a go at the club for an hour. Not one week goes by where they don't mention how much money we have spent, constantly cast aspersions about the disharmony in the squad and only recently have they stopped bleating on about unfairly we treated Mark Hughes. Yet, one week after we battered the filth at the swamp they can't bring themselves to mention it for more than a few seconds. Had the result gone the other way there is no doubt that half the programme would have been devoted to how brilliant manure are and how Mancini had lost the dressing room etc.
That is why we know (not think) that there is an anti-City agenda in the media

So why is it not ok for these guys to give their opinions on an opinion based show?

Of course they can give their opinions - don't be so pedantic. My issue is with the imbalance of their opinions - they offer their opinions on all the negative things they associate with our club but none of the positives (i.e. the 6-1 derby win)

We've seen others on the same programme who exhibit the same hatred for the same reason.

Dazby.
Week in week out they have journos on there who absolutely loathe our success as others have said. Fortunately, Martin Samuel and Henry Winter give at least a degree of balance on the odd occasions when they're on the show.
The issue this week is far more simple though, and lays directly on the doorstep of the presenter Brian Woolnough.
Last Sunday there had been a game; a performance, a result which had shocked the whole world of football. It didn't get a single mention except 'in passing' while discussing something else.
Had the result been 6-1 rather than 1-6 you can be sure Woolnough would have done his very best to dedicate half the show to the subject.

100% correct.
It would also have taken the direction of ' you can't just throw money at it ' & Smith would have been loudly, nauseatingly scoffing at how Sir Alex & his boys have put us in our place & 'Utd have made a statement' etc etc etc. This is not fantasy, it's EXACTLY what would have happened, & chances are that the places of Samuel & the other geezer would have been occupied by Oliver Holt & a similar arsewipe, so they could all sing from the same hymn sheet.

You are probably right.I do not watch it but find it a bit ironic the people who slag this program off but yet still watch it call people who watch the X factor for example yet continue to watch what in their opinion is tripe. If they watch this tripe surely its a bit hypo to call people who watch X factor.

This is so insightful, I feel like one of the Beatles when they met Mahreshi Yogi. Truly life changing stuff.
