I love how he tells Maxi Lopez he is very firmly second choice - that should help him settle in nicely WHEN they fail to land Tevez.

I doubt Maxi Lopez will mind tbh. Had to read it twice to make sure they weren't talking about a different player. Maxi bloody Lopez as an alternative to Tevez, however fucked in the head he might be. Good luck with that then!

Info over on BM, suggests French Radio is stating we have accepted a deal with PSG in the region of €27Million. Earlier reports on the BBC this evening, had both clubs denying any deal.

No smoke without fire, but a long way to go yet I think.

27m euro seems like a travesty, we end up tqaking a loss on him, do we ever make money on a player?very that i can remember over the tears despite how well they do(im thinking anelka, tevez).

From Manchester to Paris, cant see him settling there either, if he had of had sense he would of got on with it and become a legend while captaining one of the best sides in Europe, instead hes gooing to end up in the poxy French league, shame all round.

You know, I can see him and KJ turning a move to PSG down and trying to force the move to Milan.

Seedorf is already on record as saying Tevez will chase the money, so he obviously doesn't think he's going to Milan, or there's an argument in the dressing room as soon as he arrives! I wonder if we'll get another sulking standoff now, where we want to sell him to PSG but he refuses to go, as his snakey agent has been secretly pushing for Milan all along ?

I recon the book value of Tevez will be a lot less than his actual potential transfer value from last season, so £20 odd mill is probably decent business for the accountants. In reality though, his behaviour will have cost us 19 20 mil; something we will possibly look to get back from him, unless of course we've stopped paying him now & it's part of an agreement we've come to along with loss of bonuses, image rights etc.

OS is rubbishing the PSG story along the lines of "it's news to us", "nobody bothered to check with MCFC"

Listening to radio 5 earlier, Neil Custis (Sun journo - disinfects the keyboard) suggested that if Tevez is flogged for less than his summer value City will sue him for the difference. I'm not sure they will, but the threat will keep him and KJ jumping.
