So hows he still allowed to be in Argentina picking up 200k a week? Have we told him he can or are we just waiting to have a case to sue his ass big time? I know we dont want him near the squad but how can we pay him to play golf and slag us off and generally take the piss. Cant believe the owners will allow this for too long!

We don't know he is still being paid, infact we don't know very much about the situation at all since the club is keeping quiet (probably for a very good reason) - the Sheikh doesn't strike me as someone to let a person walk all over him though.

Milan to discuss Tevez

AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani claims he is to meet with Manchester City on Thursday to discuss the possible signing of Carlos Tevez.

The defending Serie A champions want to sign the controversial Argentine on loan with a view to a long-term deal at the end of the season, but City would prefer to conclude a permanent arrangement in January.

City boss Roberto Mancini is eager to see Tevez's situation resolved after a long-running saga which has seen the striker fined and suspended before returning to South America.

Ligue 1 title contenders Paris St Germain have also been linked with a big-money move for the 27-year-old former Manchester United and West Ham star.

But the French club have said they will only attempt to sign Tevez if European heavyweights Milan fail in their efforts.

Galliani is optimistic Milan will be successful and the Italian supremo is set to fly to England this week in a bid to build momentum ahead of the January transfer window.

In comments reported by Italian news agency ANSA, Galliani said, "It's true I'm meeting them (City) Thursday, but I don't think the deal will be concluded that day."

Milan leave for Dubai for their winter training camp on 29th December and Galliani admits it will be "almost impossible" for Tevez to join the rest of the squad.

Ex-captain Tevez has not played for City since refusing to warm up during a UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September.

Manchester City have opened talks with Inter Milan over the sale of striker Carlos Tevez, BBC Sport understands.

City have held discussions with AC Milan but are frustrated with the Italian champions' insistence on a loan deal with an option to buy.

Tevez's representatives have yet to hold discussions with Inter and no fee has been agreed for the 27-year-old.

The Argentine prefers a move to AC Milan and his advisors want to finalise a deal before the window closes.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti said on Monday: "If you do something you don't do it as a joke but because you think it can be a good operation.

"We've acquired information on how things are going, there's room to act, we'll see if we can do it or not.

"There are still three weeks left. It's not about being optimistic but rather seeing how things are."

Fifth-placed Inter trail leaders AC Milan by 10 points having had a poor start to the Serie A season and the two teams face each other in the league at the weekend.

Tevez has not played for City since they beat Birmingham on 21 September.

City boss Roberto Mancini alleged he refused to come off the substitutes' bench in September's Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich, while the player maintained there had been a misunderstanding.

An internal club investigation concluded that Tevez, who joined City in July 2009, was guilty of five breaches of his contract and he was fined four weeks' wages, reduced to two following intervention from the Professional Footballers' Association.

Goal.com Italia understands that Galliani matched Inter’s offer for the player during those talks and Moratti has now seemingly accepted that Tevez is bound for Milanello.

When asked by Canal Plus and the BBC about the current state of play, the Inter president responded: "Will we buy him? I do not know."

Moratti was then asked if he felt Tevez was going to sign for Milan and he admitted: "I think so."

Their manager stated catagorically at one point, that they weren't interested in Tevez, whilst his boss was having his picture taken with him, saying they had agreed terms. The fact that Inter's pres has said he thinks Milan havebeaten them to his signature holds more weight than anything those snake eyed tossers at Milan say.
