Beefymcfc wrote:Hi Potters-Online, seeing as you are asking us then let's ask you the same:

1. How do you think Stoke have done so far this season, and where do you think you will finish in the table?

Having another great season, just come out of a poor run of form (hopefully) and we have become difficult to beat again, surprisingly we are starting to pick up a few points away from home. Fantastic run in Europe and to get all the way to the last 32 with only loosing 1 game against some decent teams is a great effort. Rewarded with a trip to Valencia in Feb.

2. Who is your star man at the moment ? Anyone we should watch out for? <----- Definately not a Daft Question, I'm sure :)

Robert Huth, how this guy doesn't play for a top team is beyond me, he's solid. Our shakey patch coincided with TP pissing about with the defence and playing him at RB or not at all. Now he's back in the middle we look much much stronger.

3. What are your feelings/thoughts before, during and after the Cup Final?

Before I was optimistic, we destroyed Bolton and it gave everyone hope, we ended up with a couple of injury's to key players that really hurt us. Had an absolutely fantastic day and had some good banter with your lot on the tubes and around the ground. It was obvious from early on in the game we were going to struggle. The noise when you scored was something that will live with me for the rest of my life, it knocked the stuffing out of me ! I still can't watch it back, I will save it for a day when I can watch it without feeling totally gutted (maybe after we win something !), HOWEVER it has given us the opportunity to go on a European adventure, something I never thought I would get the chance to do, thanks for getting 4th last season !!

4. What are your honest opinions on Man City (money and all that)?

Don't mind you at all, have lots of Man City ST holders as mates, we often have a good natter about each others games at work. I enjoy watching you play, Silva is a genius. The money is part of football these days, makes me laugh to see The Rags having a pop at you for it, it was them twats that started it and have consistently spent obscene amounts ever since, maybe they want to take there ball home now they have some real competition !

5. Where do you think we can finish in the table?

You will win the league, I said it before a ball was kicked this season and I stick by that !

6. What is your score prediction?

Heart says 2-2 Head says 4-1 !

And finally:

7. Can you confirm the origin of the 'Delilah' chant that you've picked up?

I learnt a lot about delilah in the run up to the cup final, it was me who organised all this !! :) (You can't take the piss anymore than my mates have ;) )

Cheers bud, much appreciated. I'll use some of this in the Preview (on the site tomorrow morning). Thanks for confirming the song, I'll stick the words of the Delihah song in it, just because I think it's one of the most boring chants in football, but suppose that's how it was founded ;-)

I'm sure he's predicting that we will win 4-1 lads.

Potters-online you're a great ambassador for your club. The one thing that does my head in with Stoke is the time wasting, whether it's a throw in, free kick or goal kick you seem to take an age to get the ball back in play, it would have me pulling my hair out if I had any.

No complaints from me lads, you've hammered us. We tried parking the bus and it hasn't worked.

Infact I don't remember the last time we got out played like this.

You have a fantastic team, make the most of watching them.

See you at the Brit

Fair play mucka. That was very one sided but withrespect I feel you have bigger fish to fry against lesser opponents. That first goal though was a mile offside!

Yeh it was offside, don't think it would have made much difference to be honest :)

Your a class apart, and our team selection told us we had written the game off before a ball was kicked. We have 3 "winnable" games coming up, Villa and Wigan at home and Blackburn away. Sometimes you just have to pick your battles, tonight was one we were never going to win.

Enjoy the season, will be a good one for you im sure

Does it not piss you off when your team makes no attempt whatsoever to take part in a game? I couldn't watch that shite every week, the Stoke fans deserve better.
