Anyone know how many we've sold so far? Scunthopre sold just under 3k. We should be looking at 32k at least with it being half term and that.

We got 26k against Fulham's reserves and they brought about 50 fans!! I'd be very dissapointed with that!

Scunthorpe have sold 3,500 so far, and City expect a crowd of over 30k.

3,500 ? Well I hope they sell a few more than that seeing as we've all been turfed out of our regular seats in the south stand.

I don't have a season card or anything like that. I'm just a regular joe on the street who hasn't been for years. Could I turn up tomorrow night and pay on the door, or does that not happen anymore?

Was gonna go, but its a choice between family night at City or a family night at spookyworld on Halloween. The kids chose spooky world. They've got a lot to learn.

How come you're listed as a 'player'?
37,041 is my guess. Any tickets to Abu Dhabi riding on this one? ;)

There was definitely a bit more than 2500 Ric.. looked more like 4000 to me. Still a pretty good attendance by our piss-poor standards for cup games - much more than we achieved for any of last season's European games bar Hamburg of course. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come and the crowds continue to rise this year. I get the impression that City weren't expecting as many last night as they clearly couldn't cope with the crowds trying to get in - the queues were massive, loads of people including moi missed Ireland's goal.

I agree that there was nearer 4000 from Scunthorpe as they more than filled what would normally be considered the away fans section.
I also walked past the queue for the ticket office about 30 mins before kick off and couldn't believe how far it stretched. I'm assuming that many of those would have been ticket collections due to postal delays rather than new purchases as I can't believe that many would have decided to come at the last minute and pay more for the tickets (or are collections made from the City Store now and not the ticket office?).
Yes, 36000 was a good attendance but factor in kids for a quid and half term break (I've never seen so many kids attending). Keep the ticket prices the same and we will fill it for a Quarter final home game if we get one. However, if they revert back to normal prices for a category C game, I doubt we would match last nights attendance.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!
