The pride of losing to the Rags isn't my main concern for Sunday. I'll be more gutted if we lose and give up our title of FA Cup Holders without a serious run in the competition.

But of course we could put the wounded animal out of it's misery. Out of the Chumps league and the CL ,behind in the league and possibly out of the FA cup to the holders. How good would that be. We need our best team out and treat it like a final.

This. Then at least we can have no excuses.

Fuck putting the wounded animal out of it misery, we need to kick the fuck out of it while its down then hang it up to slowly bleed to death for the whole world to see.

That's the analagy I like to see. Not bad for a sub-mariner ;-)

How nice would it be to beat them playing with the EDS lads on show?

Full team no chances, a 1-0 win would have me over the blue moon.

I agree. I'd put the Dippers game as a second compared to this one, even though it is a semi.

I can't believe I'm saying that!

That would be typical City. Actually, Typical City would be losing to a non-league side as the holders.

I want us to fucking destroy them....pass them to death and then some...toy with them ..like a fuckign Cat toying with a mouse before killing it off.

Fucking Munchenhausens...now is the time to really fuck with their heads and batter them......destroy them.

On a side note I'm having another bet on the drunken tramp croaking it.

This game is so much in our hands...and so much in their heads.

In last years semi, their arrogance told them they'd win. The scoreline told them they hadn't. It must have been quite a shock to them.
The Community Shield was no compensation for that loss and they would have been desperate to put us in our rightful (underling) place at the swamp....1-6 told them they couldn't. Thet weren'tgood enough.
They started this season with far better results than last season and it must be a shock for them to find themselves trailing us in the League.
As desperate as they may be, they KNOW we are a better team than them, They KNOW it and we KNOW it.

All we have to do is play our usual way, not lose our heads and do anything stupid and the victory is ours.

A City victory on Sunday could do them some serious damage...I doubt if they have a clue how to deal with KNOWING they are inferior.

I wuold use Dzeko from the start - he got 2 against them last time and his height would unsettle their makeshift defence.
Pity De Gea's been dropped.

I'd play the second string side. If they win we've rested players and got the edge over them again. If we lose, it's one less lot of fixtures to contend with.

I'd be thrilled with winning the league cup and the league. This should be our focus. Anything else is a bonus.

I don't agree; it's a derby and derbies shouldn't be lost; if it happens, then so it be, shit happens at times, but to send out a weakened team is a no go in my book. We can win it and we should go all out to do so. Not to mention the psychological effect on them to lose another derby AND the third game on the trot, it could send them into a spyral of bad results giving us some breathing space at the top of the table.

Yup, FA Cup win would be huge for us against the rags.

Whilst its quite probable that a win over the dippers will see us win the League Cup, a win against U****d on Sunday will do more than just get us to the next round of the FA.

The confidence it will give to us (and rip from them) will be incredible, 3 losses in a row will really seem like a 'crisis' to them, no matter how much baconface will deny it. He's been an arrogant twat with all his 'we'll see who the real champions are in the second half of the season' mindgames shit.

Mancini will know this and i have every faith in him putting out a team to win.

Fuck the 6-1, 8-0 please City.
