Inter said last week they would not make any comment on the Tevez situation until after their Milan derby clash with rivals AC at the weekend.
The Nerazzurri won the game 1-0 and straight after the game manager Claudio Ranieri and the club were quizzed about the Argentine.
Ranieri would not be drawn closely on the issue, but Moratti has wasted little time in confirming that they have now made a firm offer of just over £20million.
No secret
"There are no secrets in football," Moratti told Controcampo.
"The offer is €25m. Now it is up to City whether they accept that bid or not."
Moratti also admitted they were not the only club chasing Tevez, including PSG and also English clubs.
He added: "However, I do think that there are a number of other clubs who are interested in him. There are some English sides and also Paris St Germain."
The news of Inter's bid comes less than a week after AC withdrew from talks for Tevez after Alexandre Pato shunned a move to Paris St Germain.
"At this moment in time it seems that we don't need Tevez, but football gives a different answer on a daily basis," he continued.
"I would keep all of the players that are in the squad right now, but there is still time until the transfer window closes. We'll wait and see."
I would take the money and run

It also dumps Tevez out of the Prem Lge, and tweaks the nose of that twat Galliani and Kia who had set up a deal for him to go to AC, so it has added benefits. Consider it our little payback for effing us about over Kaka.

If he is to be sold for 20 mill we will have 50 clubs after him. I would be carefull he does not end up with Harry.

City would never sell him to another team in the Prem, not Arry, not anybody.
AC and Inter are fully aware of this hence why their offers are in the range they are.

Saying that, im sure we're probably in talks with all the people we want to be. City are great at keeping things hush.
Just want it done and dusted now though, as does everyone im sure.

That will be getting closer to City's ballpark I think. If we can get an offer we are willing to accept, then give them permission to speak to Tevez (y know like how transfers are conducted) if all the Milan snakes are serious, they will have to put up or shut up.
Otherwise Tevez signs for PSG or stays here. That should get him focused.

exactly. if yr Tevez why the fuck would you want to leave England for Paris? Puts pressure on AC Milan not to bottle it or Tevez to sort his head out. I mean fucl me...he's lost his only mind with this bullshit of his. I can't recall a major sporting superstar dropping such a bullock as he has in the last 12 months. Luckily for him he regained his senses to get to hoist an FA Cup, so his immediate insanity seems only 2-3 months long, but it's been 13 months of complete horseshit with this fuckhole.
CityGer wrote:That's the great shame of it all though, in his eye's and in Kia's he hasn't dropped a bollock. They've played a blinder as far they're concerned. They've knocked £10 - 15Mil off his value and opened up more options for him, he's no doubt increased his bargaining power in terms of signing on fee and wages and will soon have engineered the move he was after. Looking at the clubs who are after him, reputational damage is hardly a concern either.
All that before you even look at his golf handicap.
It stinks and I doubt there is very much we can/will do about it. Cut or losses, take the £25Mil and never let him darken our door again.
