My belief before kick off was that we would be at our most susceptible in the first half, and if we were going to lose it it would be then. At 1-1 we are very well placed to win this. When we collapse it seems to be in the first half. I think we have a good chance tonight.

I don't often moan about defenders but it's slowly starting to piss be off a lot that almost of these "50/50" situations go against us.
Just like tonight. I can understand why Dowd gave the peno.. but we had similar situation (foul on Dzeko) which could've as easily been given for us.
it's just not happening for us right now.

basically it seems all we can do is to step up our game enough. just like early in the season when it didn't matter even if ref was against us!!

Unbelieveable half of football and for the most of it we were gash. 3 at the back doesn't work, especially when you have a central player whose confidence is shot. We are so open down the channels that the Dippers can run into them whenever they want knowing they'll get the ball; even Beller's pointed it out.

Looks like we went to play a controlled game and hopefully be no more than 1 down at about 65 /70 minutes so maybe it's so far so good. Trouble is we scored and woke them up but it still took a gr8 assist from the ref to get their goal. Prior to that Savic was doing his best to set them up but Joe was looking good.

Same 2nd half as I expect Scouse to sit back again as they were doing so it might all be about how we fare when we make the attacking subs. Maybe the ref will realise what he did and even things out. Booking that dirty sod Adam would be a start.

Can you imagine the final 10 minutes if we score again and they bring the lamp post on.
