All the trash talk about City "buying" the FA cup and trying to "buy" the league is rubbish. If the League was ever for sale then it was sold to Utd a long time ago. The team doesnt even try to be good anymore because they think that they dont have to and they'll always be the best (look what happened to Liverpool). The last time I was at old trafford there was 0 atmosphere and the away fans were singing louder whilst losing. I respect were City have come from, yeah theres alot of money going round but thats football in the 21st century. There seems to be a real team spirit going around the blues fans, I havent been to a city game but I plan to go to one soon to see what its all about from the stands!
I dont feel as though I could ever wear the Blue shirt after being a Utd fan as many might say its city's day now and im glory supporting but I'll never be a Utd fan again because i just think the attitude of the club and players stinks.
Not trying to jump on the bandwagon here, I dont feel like a city fan because of my background, just sharing my opinion about Manchester football.

Right, I'd better introduce myself since I've been lurking on here for a few months now.

Decided on joining the forum after finding the app (really handy for when at work!).

Been a City fan for as long as I can remember. My old man took me to Maine road in 91/92 against Villa, a 2-0 win with David White scoring two. I remember being sat in the North stand and my old man giving Les Sealey some right banter. To be fair, he was giving it back, though you don't really get that much now eh?!

Anyway, I live in Hadfield near Glossop, married with an 18 month old boy (dressed in blue of course!) and have been a season ticket holder in South Stand 117 since we moved into eastlands.

Hi. I've been following the site for a while on my phone app.
I guess I was an original "glory hunter" as I started supporting City in 68, my uncle got me into it. So I've experienced the glory days, then all that has followed since. Hope we aren't going to bottle it now were on the verge of something big.

I try to keep this quiet but I started following City in 1956 when we won the Cup....The glory hunting didn't last long though.

Hey Lads,

firstly a big thank you for being so welcoming!
im a long time City fan here in Australia and after months of working 2 jobs i'v finally saved enough to see my boys play,

I'll be flying into London on the 18th of March and would give my first born to see City play Chelsea on the 20th

while I know its a massive ask to get tickets to such a massive match iv never been one to aim low,
Being in australia I have no idea how to go about getting a ticket, and would LOVE some advice

iv looked at sites like worldticketshop.com and footballticketslive.com but really feel nervous about getting screwed there,

But im that desperate to see the match i may just have to hang around the stadium and look for scalpers.
If any of you lads can help me fulfill a dream of seeing my boys or give me any advice on getting a single ticket, I would be forever in debt

thanks again
