Funny how he says he's not got good business sense yet we keep hearing how good he is in the transfer market? Aren't these business deals he is making, isn't he doing 'good' business for Spurs?

My god mandaric and redknapp manage to spout alot of character building nonsense about how nice a person they are and how they are the victims in all this. Wtf does it have do to with anything that he was not home and someone tipped of the press?!

You obviously miss the point....It means that Twitchy was being a nice person somewhere else, other than at home at the time. See the relevance now?...I don't either.

What's this that he snapped at a copper on the way out of court?

Fesan wrote:Loving the news service, but afraid thar the prosecutions case is alittle thin. Not seeing any evidence of the money being a bonus, lets hope they can get them on some legal mumbo jumbo like tax on gifts or something, atleast where I am from you cannot gift someone more than 2000£ without paying taxes on it.

Obviously they're going to lie through their teeth, and will probably have agreed a story between themselves, whether brief-assisted or not, but they still surely won't be able to get around the following FACTS

1).They set up a bank account in MONACO, whose name was an obvious Redknapp code amalgam
2).The bank representative confirmed Redknapp having visited there and he transferred money out of it.
3).This alleged 'repayment' instruction was only issued after journalists got wind of it/the IR started asking questions about it

Of course the prosecution legal team could be incompetent, or the jury could be bought, or a mis-trial could be declared, but thats the only possible way that Redknapp won't be found guilty

It was IN COURT. Redknapp stopped speaking for a mo then said 'please stop staring at me I know you are trying to cause me a problem, ok' to one of the detectives that worked on the case ... very surreal

So if they are found guilty, what kind of sentance can we expect? Jailtime? How much time? Or just a fine?

DAY 9
Prosecution ask Redknapp if money wasn't a bonus then why did he tell News of World
Redknapp "That money was a bonus paid to me for selling a player"."

Redknapp says not important if he tells truth to News of World, only needs to tell truth to police.

Redknapp tells jury that what he said to News of World was "all a story" and "I wanted to get him off the phone".

Prosecution then said News of World reporter "caught you out Mr Redknapp. You decided to speak to him and let the cat out of the bag"

Redknapp shows frustration with prosecution: "Do you think that me + Mr Mandaric are going to have 2 different stories? Are we that stupid?"

"Redknapp repeatedly tells Court that he wasn't telling truth in the News of World interview and Monaco money wasn't a bonus.

Redknapp says if money was bonus "I've gained nothing. Portsmouth would have saved some tax. I'm not interested in saving Portsmouth money."

'Do you think me and Mr Mandaric would have two differentt stories? Are we that stupid?' That's practically admitting to being duplicitous by virtue of the inference that they have had to ensure the 'stories' they're telling, actually match.

And that's after admitting he chats shit, albeit to the NotW.

And as for not being interested on Saving Portsmouth money! Hahahaa! Who knew!? What a 'fantastic football manager' and generally all round nice bloke.

What a fuclin spiv!

He asked for funds consistently to fucl us over when he tapped half our squad up , buys expensive players then rapes Pompey for the same players when he fucls off to Spuds! Too right he wasn´t interested in saving Pompey money. Just happy to see them go down the shitter!!

"Arrffer fackin Daley? Who´s he?" should be his next admission

DAY 9 cont.
More humour from Redknapp, after saying he didn't know address of Monaco bank.

Prosecutor: "You knew a man who did." Redknapp "I knew a man who can?"

Redknapp had told News of World Monaco money was "1million per cent" Crouch bonus.

He tells prosecution that it was "1million per cent NOT""

Redknapp: "I've paid over £8million income tax. Why are we bothering over £10,000 or whatever I'm said to have saved in tax?"

He said focus was on marking Beckham when Monaco fax sent before Old Trafford match, "but didn't work well as he scored a hat-trick!"

Soooooo many inconsistencies in their stories as exemplified in this thread. I don't see the prosecution exposing this. Weird.
