Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I have just had a quick scan through in the"News of the world" paper and it says this about what hughes and Bowen were doing last night! I couldent find this on the notw website by the way.
It says that ughes flew to spain last night on a secret spying mission to watch Osasuna defenders "Ignacio Monreal" and "Cesar Azpilicueta."The manchester city Chief is on the lookout for a new right back to replace richards in January. Hughes is keeping a eye on the left back "Ignacio Monreal" as he plans for the long term future. His other target YaYa Toure was on the bench and city are confident of tying up a deal in January for him.
So the players mentioned are-
Ignacio Monreal- is a left back, Dont know anything else about him
Cesar Azpilicueta- Right back, Dont know anything else about him
Yaya Toure- Hopefully coming in January!!
Anyone know any information about these two Osasuna Defenders?

i dont know them, but my good friend just told me we should all shut the fucl up about Yaya Toure, so...young Lewis...i urge you to fall in line here...just passing word along in a friendly way before the Stasi Douche gets to this thread. Ahem.
Edit: Meant to say "Stasi Douche"..corrected now.

Maybe he and his side kick were just being courted by the hierarchy at Barcelona for being so helpful in concluding the protracted Robinho transfer.
Or are we not allowed to say that ?

I met up with a mate at the match who is normally quite good at picking up tit-bits about CITY - he mentioned 2 things of interest - 1/ that Hughes and Stevie ahd a right ding dong earlier in the week and that Ya Ya is a done deal - I will treat the Ya Ya thing as I would most other 'transfer rumours' - but this Stevie row seemed genuine??

Completely wasting their time instead of preparing themselves for the game today.

Doing what exactly? Surely that sort of preparation would already have been done.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

After seeing last night's game, it obviously wasn't.
