Totally up his own arse. The epitome of Hollywood "Golden Generation" England. Selfish non team player.

Seems very much part of the past.

Exactly. An anachronism. A really bad one that no one outside Liverpool will ever lament.

England already look more "free" and less pressured than they ever did under Capello. Looking to create something rather than playing to not concede

I hate coaches who feel they need to intimidate the players in order to be respected. too much ego, not enough coaching

Is it me or is AJ showing us that he's got a right foot?

No, he's an excellent footballet who is clearly not right after a long injury absence and 120 mins on Sunday.

You keep spewing your shite, though. Parker, Gerrard....anyone else in the side you hate?

His ability to keep possession is very underrated, too often just thought of as an enforcer

It's showed already in this game that he is given a very specific task by Mancini and there is more to is game.

In many of our games he does a great job of keeping the ball and doing little makalele type moves (small pullback, fake steps..). But you're right, Yaya or Barry generally do take over once we're looking to feed the strikers

How refreshing was that? As someone has already mentioned they seem to be enjoying their play, against the likes of Holland (where are they in the World Rankings; top 2 I think) it's looking promising, reminds me of how I used to look forward to these games.

PS. The whole thing let down by having Ince and Keane as pundits!

Agreed. Encouraging 45.

We lack a top drawer centre forward, a proper focal point for our attacks.

I don't know if this is a criticism or some kind of gag, but I can't for the life of me think what you'd have against him. Good player, works his bollocks off and seems like a decent guy.

I'm confused, too.

Come on CityGer, lay your cards on the table. You seem to enjoy slagging off City fans you don't agree with, but where do your allegiances actually lie?

If he had come to City at some point over the last year he might have had some decency knocked into him. As it stands, I see nothing but a snide Cockney thug. What's with all the incessant winking he does?

To clarify, I have no need to like or even grudgingly admire any non City player. I can admire Robin Van Persie because he is world class, but Scotty Parky? Please.

To be fair, I'm struggling to recall you saying positive things about City players as well. I think you are pretty much bitter and hate everyone
