haha...I actually did hit myself at several points during that game. It was either me or the computer screen.

I also hit the wall and then I kicked someone's car who had parked too close to me.

BUT I still would prefer (at this stage) to be just behind them.

Ted: I do not disagree that we need to improve...and now...but if that is not going to serve as a wake up call and as the impetus to make us do so (and I mean everyone...the players...the coaching staff....the fans) then we don't deserve to win the title.

I have been "scared" of today fixture since long. Indeed we are a better team, quality wise, but Swansea play that kind of perfectly shaped and organized pressure that put our front line out of breath. There should have been a City at their best to overtake the challenge, and they have been far from best.
I do not question for even a while commitment and desire of the whole team, but it's a fact that some key players are widely out of form as for recent.
I suspect Silve should be suffering some kind of pain/injury which prevent him to play his football: he is too much of football genius to play like this.
Aguero is a finisher of very rare quality who seems to have lost the sightseen of the goal (not sure how to say in english, but in italy we say that striker has lost the view of the goal/net).
Definitely the presence of Savic in the lineup seems to me to have had an influence on the attitude of the team to unleash their attacking power: as if they were, consciuosly or not, scared of the need of not being caught in the counter.
I said before the start that lining up two not creative and rather slow holders (GB and NDJ) was a manager's mistake that he had been quick to correct with some results, but, perhaps not in the ideal way: I'd rather have had Pizarro or even Milner along side one of the two plus a second striker yes but, taking off either silva or nasri.

I am pissed as anyone but the confidence is still alive: Rags are still shite and we shall batter them at home. Just City need to up their game at their best again.

And, hey oh, I can even see a little positive in this shitful day: the anti-City agenda shall probably get a rest in the next weeks, because, You know, U***d have already won the league!

[scroll]COME ON CITY!!![/scroll]

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!

we only started playing after conceding, thinking back would have been better had swansea scored the pen which should,nt have been one anyway, too much tippy tappy not enough shots on target, you cannot thread the perfect pass every match to score the winner,
more shots on sight you never know you might get a lucky deflection, we all know vorm is a class keeeper he needs peppering every chance you get. we didnt deserve a draw today, to slow to predictable in our build up play, very dissappointing overall.

Just been tagged this about a dozen times on facebook! good thing he wasn't at Northampton, Darlington and Lincoln back in the day.

We were spineless today but we've come a long way, we've got a stable club and a chance to win the league. If we fuck it up we fuck it up! but we'll dust ourselves down and drink the next town dry!

Why wouldn't they be favourites? We were marginal favourites when we were in front and now it's switched and they have an easier fixture list., hardly surprising.

Not good enough. Not even near good enough. Not even in the same country as good enough.

Our away form since winning at OT has been poor and its getting worse. Since the turn of the year in the Prem we've played 5 away games, and all were decidedly winnable. We've lost 1-0 at Sunderland, Everton and Swansea, and scraped 1-0 wins at Villa and Wigan.

We lost 1-0 at Swansea and Everton ffs. Utd eked out 1-0 wins in the same away games - therein lies the difference as to why we have chucked away our advantage, and why they will go on to win the league. We have now put ourselves in a position where we have to win at Stoke, at Arsenal and at Newcastle - Id be surprised if we won one of those fixtures. We may likely beat Utd at home, but thats unlikely to be good enough anyway.

Unless our away form improves 200%, we will end the season empty handed. Considering we will have been in 5 competitions (PL, CL, CC, FA Cup & Europa) and the squad we have, that isnt acceptable.

Today's performance was bafflingly flat, lethargic, poor, clueless and largely aimless - summed up deep in injury time when we get a final corner, with time already over the injury time, and we take it fuclin short ffs.

It's a time to stand together. Blue forever. OK, we might win no trophies this year. But neither will Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham. Two years ago, we'd have been pleased with second. So, that's what it will now, probably, be. That it hurts like hell is a mark of our loyalty. To have led the PL for half a year is a testament to our potential. But tonight, nevertheless, is a dagger in the heart. See you all at Chelsea and let's back the blues.

I think I'm beginning to see what many City fans are made of, and you can't polish it!

Have we not been through worse shit than this but in a different context? Surely it was harder to sit their sweating it out if we were to be relegated? Surey it was harder down in the 1st or 2nd division? I suppose it depends on where your expectations led you or whether you're more bothered about what some Rag glory hunter says to you rather than what you think of your club.

Personally, I'm more than happy with where we are and where we are going. One slip, even though disappointing, does not make a season and from what I've seen thus far I'm more than happy to be a long-life supporter of this great club.

Think odds are decided by bookmakers rather than the media.

Yes, we have been top since October, however, they only hand out the trophy to the team who's top in mid May, not the one who's spent the most weeks there. I'd happily be second for the rest of the season providing we finished the QPR game in top spot. In fact, that would make it even sweeter.

Why the fuck are people talking like the title is theirs?! They have been behind for 15 plus games and one mistake put them ahead this time. One mistake by them will put us ahead again. We still have the advantage if you take the derby into account. It's this sort of attitude that makes us not win things and the totally opposite attitude that makes their success rate the total opposite too. Do you think they ever thought the title was over at 5 points behind and yet some twats here are throwing in the towel be because we are a mere point behind?!? Man the fuck up! Win the rest of our games and we still win the league!! Now is NOT the time for melancholy!!!!

Doesn't come down to the fans though, it comes down to the manager and players. And our away form ALL season means that they are more likely to come through. If they slip up, it was likely to be at home, but they've not got many banana skins left

that short corner almost made me destroy my television. My children heard me says things from several rooms away which i really don't think they should hear coming out of my mouth. i even managed to actually piss the wife off with my childish behavior ranting at the TV. i mean....wtf? bash it into the box and make something happen ffs. brain dead shit.

all that after the euphoria of feeling we'd leveled, then the flag, etc...it was a draining morning at casa Doomeh.

the good news is we get to thrash some fucking portugeezers mid week. we need to come back with a statement to make in these next few matches. Tevez will play a part in them. i feel.

cheers

From what I can gather, the rags are thinking that they have the league won already. There's a long way to go, and we shouldn't give up yet. Sure, they're favourites, but if every favourite won, every bookie in the land would've gone broke years ago.

Should we fail to win the league, then the blame could be laid at two doors: our away form and the rags ability to grind out results. Of course we've had some crap decisions that have cost us vital points. But, we have to put that behind us and get on with the job.

We've played the better football this year and made considerable progress. It might not be enough and it wouldn't be the first time the best team came second.

But that future has not yet happened. For now, we have to show some bottle, put right what's wrong and fight for every point between now and May.
