Isn't that supposed to be really posh area?

Where's Lytham Blue these days BTW?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Twickenham is nice but the prices for modest houses there are ridiculous. It's also on the landing approach for Heathrow, so there's a constant fucking racket. My mate's uncle lives there and I spent a night there before watching Blur in Hyde Park in 2009. The weather at the time was red hot and some of the riverside pubs and cafés were lovely to sit outside of.

Could never live close to airport. The noise would make me go crazy. We actually live relatively close to station for small hobby aircrafts right now and even that is too much for me. Luckily we just bought new house where we'll move in autumn.

Twickenham isn't that posh.
As for the planes, I don't hear them much. When it gets noisy I just get one of the butlers to close a window.

Hello people,

I am a City supporter from Zambia but I am currently in Leicester studying for the next 3 years. When I started watching football, I decided to support City because my brother supports United. I am glad that I chose the best team in the world. I have never been to the Etihad because I couldn't afford tickets and travel but after saving some money, I was able to buy a ticket for the QPR match. I don't know any City supporters. Hope I can make some friends.
Thanks

You might get to know 45,000+ after Sunday's game mate!!! What a top game to attend for your first ever match, there are a number on here who will try to convince you that it will be crap and you'd be better off watching the game in the student uni. I'm not one of those but I'll give you £20 for your ticket :-)

Well done for not following the path of the eveil empire like your brother btw

Good man. I started supporting City around 1966 or 1967 because every other twat in my infant school supported the evil ones. I was rewarded with the league title in 1968, and the other stuff that followed.

Hello,

Call me CC. I just joined yesterday. Been lurking here since an year and decided to join to meet fellow City fans and to discuss City and football since every other place is infested with scums shouting "City bought the title" or "You have no history" bull-crap and people around me IRL are "life-long" United supporters who cannot even name the entire team squad.

As for me, I am an 18 year old Computer Applications student from India. I have been a City fan since I started watching football 4 to 5 years back around the 08 Euro, when I was something like 13 or so. I initially supported City since everybody else around me supports United. With the passing time, I have come to like the Club, players, and pretty much everything associated with it.

My fave player is Yaya Toure and fave moment.. I am tempted to say 6-1 but the fave moment would be the win in the derby game 2 weeks back, since the majority of the scums were talking about winning the title at the Etihad in early April and it was a big FU to all of them.

Cheers.

Hi All, Pedro here.
Been away for a long time but how could I stay away after yesterday?
Supported City since 1723 or it seems that way. (that is nearly 25 past 5 for the slow people.)
Started going to The Swamp on free tickets when I was at nursery. Les Olive handed these out like confetti just to get the numbers, and we could only watch the reserves. Good eh?
Nah! Went once to Maine Road and stood under the clock in the pissing rain and I was hooked. Derek Kevan was playing. Stan Horne too I think. I won't say never looked back - I did. But at Maine Road I felt part of it, part of the family, not a paying customer like at the Swamp. It's the amazing humour at City that draws me back. Anyone remember Alan and the spontaneous adulation he was given at our club, before drifting back into relative obscurity again.
Memories:-
1, The League Cup semi at Maine Road; Ged Keegan; scarf swinging to the sheer noise of Que Sara Sara etc
2, Enjoying the FA Cup final with my son last year. He had not seen us win anything.
3, Enjoying this QPR last game with him via text. In textland no-one can hear you scream.
4, Colin Bell's comeback. End of.
5, Colin being done; Glyn being done; Alf Inge being done.
6, Being the second class Citizens for so long - no longer.

Hope to be with you for much longer this time.

Pete
