this is going to ruin my indie cred forever, but here goes...i was driving for coffee about an hour before the match and the 6 year old likes the pop music radio, and these two songs came on and he was INSISTENT that i couldn't change it. Somehow, i knew we would win when hearing these songs about forelorn love....i've listened to each a couple times since the match, and both made me cry.
it's been an interesting journey supporting City over the last few years. I've found interesting ways to sublimate actual emotion and connections to some people using City as an excuse, and also found friendship and love as a result of my love for City. That's what makes this game so fascinating...thank you City. I love you.
