oh bollocks , never a foul , take the corner and get on with it

I refer to Spurge's and Beefy's discussion above. I agree with Beefy.

I agree with Mr.Zuricity,so that makes a difference of opinion and, seeing as we agree with what the officials did,I think that makes your argument a little weaker.

I actually think you got his reaction (ie "why") all wrong here. I'm not saying that he should necessarily react like that when he comes on but I think it was clearly aimed at the Irish fans who'd all started booing when he came on.

On the basis that he's had monkey chanting, banana throwing and now booing....I don't blame him for a "shut the fuck up" reaction.

No way was that directed at the manager IMO.....even his teammate said it "was in English" whatever he was saying so much more likely to be towards the paddies.

Fucking great goal. He's mad, we all know that...I don't know how some of you can keep finding the outrage to waffle on about it. Yes, he needs to buck his ideas up, yes he needs to grow up but it isn't going to happen overnight....

I suppose there's no way of knowing but he needs to mature and rise above it. The more he reacts to it, the more they'll do it.

Mario is a twat, he won't change and you all know that, however, he is a loved twat.

After scoring, when he started saying things at Prandelli, the whole squad surrounded him and Motta put his hand to shut him up. It they wouldn't love his as human, they would had just ignored him and let him be, but instead, they were trying to cover him up.

The same goes when he is here, he does shitty things very often, but always be is surrounded by our lads like Yaya, Nige, Vinnie, Micah, Dzeko, who are always with him.

If you're a defender playing against him all you have to do is wind him up. Because 9/10 times he'll bite. He needs to learn to be able to rise above it.

Can you give me any examples of this? The only time i can recall him biting was when Mulumbu grabbed a hold of his leg and Mario petulantly kicked out.

I don't mean kicking out at the exact moment.
But like, the stamp on Parker, the stamp in the arsenal game. And then against QPR when Barton was going off he tried to get involved. He just needs to keep his head, let his football do the talking. He always looks like he's itching for a bit of controversy.

You said all you have to do is wind him up but I can't think of any examples where a defender has wound him up and he's bitten, apart from Mulumbu, can you?

I am not sure whether it's my bias towards City and against all things Joey, but I LOVED it when Mario got involved against Twarton. Just a shame Micah ran out and rescued the little thug or Mario would have had him.

But if Mario was on the pitch at the time, got involved and got sent off which knowing him- could of happened, then you wouldn't be loving it.

the displeasure of us coming second to the Rags because Balo gets a red card for being in a pushfight with Thanks Joey...then what?

Maybe if you were a little clearer in your writing, your book would sell better.

Just sayin.

Me too. Never a foul for me that one. And even if referees often give free kicks for similar challenges it doesn't change the fact THIS was correct decision. It just shows refs make wrong calls too often!
