Got to say, I've quite enjoyed Carroll's involvement while he's played. Pat on the back for that lad.

PS. Rooney/Young, any chance of a showing?

He didn't look happy though, a few words thrown back at Prandelli.

Had to chuckle at the commentator saying it needed to come off his shin. That's what happened the last time ya wanker.

They've recognised two things about us, one I mentioned earlier about our slowish central defenders, the other is our threat from setpieces - the amount of shirt pulling against our tall guys in the Italian area was rediculous.

Ha ha ha, the Beeb acknowledging that it was a shinner against us. Who'd have guessed it.

Overall though, we're lucky to still be in the game but all credit to our defence. Our CBs have been immense but we keep on giving the ball away cheaply in midfield, that's where Italy are winning it. It seems all in favour for the Italian's but there's a chance, we're still in it. Anything can happen from here.

To finish, why has Hodgson pinned his hopes on Young and Rooney, they've been gash and we could be out of this game if it weren't for some decent defending. Rooney's off the pace, Young has been gash and I think if Roy had stuck to his guns instead of playing the sponsorship line we'd have done a lot better.

Come On England!!!
