I wonder how much of this is caused by when we ask for a price they ask for something stupid and we walk away laughing.
In the short term it might be painful but in the long term teams need to learn we are not stupid, and thanks to FFP, we are not really rich either.

For what it's worth all the Italian press do think he will make clear where his future lies tomorrow at 3pm Italian time. It's pretty inconceivable that he won't be asked anyway in the current climate. I notice they're a lot less less sure about what decision he'll make than the twitterers but I wouldn't be surprised if he stays. The trouble is that one ofourbalternatives Martinez has been pursued relentlessly by Bayern and we don't seem to have done the same. If you're talking about a small handful of top stars you need to go after them hard and persistently. Instead of which we appear to have fiddled about leaving our transfer policy partly in the hands of Adebayor's agent. We did the same last year waiting for the sale of Tevez. Then we said fuck it and went for Aguero anyway which turned out to be a great decision.

our very own Renato has just posed on FB about 20 mins ago that DDR Is coming, and has changed his mind about joining City.

i don't feel like googling the article in Italian which i had to translate and still couldn't understand.

BUT i just wanted to share that.

cheers

If Mancini ignores it until Roma do the grandstanding then Marwood looks worse for the wear, so...why put his cock out there and say something about it?

Sounds like Spuds have nipped him to his backup target too.

No, i don't think he's having a row with Marwood...ahem. OR, alternate reality, DDR is coming, and so is Sinclair and Roberto doesn't need to say shit, because he's getting what he asked for, later than he wanted, but he's getting it.

some of it. sort of. maybe. kinda. a little.

cheers

Seeing as we know Mancini has spoken to Roma more than once about De Rossi, if DeRossi doesn't sign, does this mean he is not good enough as a negotiator ?

Don't take my hyperbole at face value. However, in contradistinction to that softening comment, i will say that Mancini doesn't negotiate. He can persuade, sell, convince, etc....but that's not negotiation at the core. The negotiation process sits firmly with Marwood and his crew.

Related, i wonder what the backroom convos were like to bring Tevez back into the fold last season?

cheers

Khaldoon made the decision on Tevez, that is a fact & I recon he has with Hazard, RVP, De Rossi etc etc.

@ Beefy; yes unfortunately, I get the felling it's going to be a case of another Italian club taking the piss out of us, but I'm hoping Renato knows something we don't know.

I see Martinez still hasn't gone to Bayern, could we? Would we want him & De Rossi? Or is it one or the other?

2pm.

If he was signing, I'd be very surprised if City let him do the press conference, as we'd want to manage it, have the shirts ready for printing etc. That it's his conference in Italy says he's staying, to me.

Of course he's not calling a press conference to say he's leaving.

Tell me ONE good reason for doing that.

I'm trying to clutch straws but maybe City have allowed him to do it his way since he has his life in Roma. So he can break the bad news to them his way and tell them he's coming to the Premier League Champions :)

Does seem odd but De Rossi is a one club man, perhaps it would be deemed an honour thing to appease the (psycho) fans.

This said I'd vote he will be committing himself to Rome. Can't believe anything else.

that probably happens to you a lot. They have all those male enhancement things i see ads for on the internet and in my email inbox. At first, i mistakenly thought someone had hacked my email or phone, but then i learned it was just completely and utterly random and had nothing to do with this so-called "personalization" thing that marketers do.

Anyway, i digress...you should check some of said products out. You don't have to keep coming up empty when you really really are expected to deliver, yknow?

We're supportive of you...don't be ashamed. Everyone has a little problem, or two.
