This is him last night.

Football Agent ‏@agent_153

...But I see #Cavani holding out for gigantic wages after seeing #MCFC's desperation to sign him

I wonder what his next tweets will say..

" @agent_153, do you want dippy soldiers with your egg ?"

"Just a minute mum.."

Tweet: 'big news #MCFC walk away from #Cavani after outrageous wage demands' "Ok mum I'm coming down'

What I read was, Chelsea are after Cavani, Napoli mention City's name to bump his price up.

It's insane that people can quote this stuff like it's a legitimate source for news especially when the person tweeting does not even provide a proper name!!!
Whats even more hilarious is that thousands of cockwombles are believing this stuff.Go over to the like of bluemoon and these twitter agents are hero worshiped.

There's a guy on the other place who gets some good info on City & very good on Chelsea, & he recons that's exactly what is going on.

If Mancini could persuade HRH to go back to huge spending mode, anything is possible though.

I suppose, but we haven't really been raking in the sales this summer and I believe that's where our funds are coming from primarily. Even if Dzeko leaves, we'll end up taking a hit on him, probably around £15m, we might get £20M but who the hell would spend that this late? Hang on, Chelsea are after a striker...the only downside is with them being english, they've seen him play.

With Ade gone and RSC looking more likely to leave v. soon, anything is possible. I also think that if there is any truth in this and he does sign, it will signify the end of Dzeko. I don't imagine Bob will want 5 strikers as that will only cause more tension at the club with player unrest. He wont want any of that this year.
I think Jovetic is a more likely transfer, especially after hearing Berbaflop may be going to his Italian club.

The same bloke is hearing stuff about Dzeko all the time.

I suppose it's not impossible that Mancini would consider someone like Jovetic as enough cover for Dzeko, perhaps keep Guidetti at the club ?

But, having said that, if the owner did sanction Cavani or another big move, Mancini would have them here like a shot.

Imagine if you were loaded & owned a club & your 'advisors' had told you we need to follow this plan & kept everything tight & sensible, but you just fancied 'just one'.

You'd be tempted to make the call wouldn't you ? Can he resist it ?

I rate cavani a lot, even more so after watching him in the CL last season. I would happily swap him for Dzeko, although Dzeko does grab us some important goals at times (for a clumsy oath).
I'm just not believing all this. Like the DDR situation, I think we are best off waiting to hear from REAL sources.

I can't have this Cavani stuff but I'm tempted to believe the Jovetic links & also a young cb at the same club.

I am glad somebody else is still sticking with this, despite the attempts to highbrow it out favour, on some dodgy forum poll:,)

We should sign him, no way the question "does he have any pace?" need be asked.
