Never particularly liked him as a player ("limited" is the word that springs to mind, as well as "can't pass"). If any player doesn't want to sign a new contract with the Champions of England, they can do one. We may miss him (though I doubt it) but what's done is done. Perhaps he chose his agent above his club. His choice.

But the bottom line is that he has tuened us down and (to be sort of fair to him) seen through what he said he would do when he joined - that he would move onto a bigger club from CITY - his words not my view.

I also raise an eyebrow at the fact it is Milan - bunch of low-life snakes. I would not be surprised if they have done some deal with his agent a long time ago but with an agreement to act to get the transfer fee down to improve the signing on fee. I actually wish we would just not do business with them.

That's the biggest loss here really. He was fighting pitbull who had his purposes in certain games but overall offered too little (Actually nothing) going forward. It's just that you can't put a prize on one or two lads who keep rest relaxed.

So what, he let others attack, especially the way he could break up counter attacks.

We'll miss him. As the team evolves we need a more flexible system.

Best of luck Nigel. Best player at the club for a spell.

A fans favourite gone but I think the time was right for all concerned. The biggest negative to MCFC will be his personality being missed around the chnging room.

I think the team evolved past his capabilities. Rodwell and particulally Garcia have more ability in my opinion.

With that said, De Jong has given us alot of good memories and he seems a really great guy so I wish him all the best.
