Good article this - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog ... ier-league

I'd definitely take a draw if i was offered it now...away point against a good side despite their problems.

My line-up would be

--------Ireland---De Jong---Barry

SWP------------Adebayor------------Bellamy

Would love us to win.

However being an avid football supporter I follow all teams when they are on the box, I saw Liverpool batter Birmingham and regardless off the penalty incident the result was still a travesty Liverpool played Birmingham off the park.

It is going to be a very tough game, and to be honest I expect us to be beaten maybe 4-2

Ironically a draw here would be a good result.

Who knows maybe Hughes will show me what a great manager he is.

A draw would indeed be a good result - would be 6 on the trot but would then consist of three good draws and three bad draws! Problem is that 3 wins and 3 losses would have been far better!!

I'd take a draw but they will be so weak without Torres, we should not have any fear. Tevez must feature, hopefully on the right hand side. Would love to see Ned get a chance v soon. And will Robbie be on the bench? Lets hope so, the sooner he starts knocking them in the quicker all the talk of his 'Manchester hell' will go away.

I am genuinely hopeful. They have all their best players out save for Gerrard who is first game back. We could turn these over I reckon.

Anything from ths would suit me. Bindippers are going to want to come on strong and prove themselves after their recent dip, however I do feel that we also have something to prove!

Question: When was the last time we won at Anfield?

Agree a draw would be a good result but cannot agree that they will be " so weak".They will be dieing for the cause and will have 2 key players missing probably , being Torres and Benayoun. We saw when they beat the scum how they can fight and produce a quality performance so we need to do the same and hope fully get it right at the back and through the middle where it really counts

I agree with this exactly. I want to see Barry on the bench as he has disapointed me since the 3rd game or so, ever since Aston Villa I believe. If robbie isn't fit, I would play Bellamy there with Tevez on the right.

Now looks like Torres is going to be fit to play aswell as Gerrard, I think a point would be a good result for us on Saturday

Dont think Robinho will suddenly be fit enough to be put in, especially in an away match. Completely the wrong fixture.

Although the Dippers' players seem to be crawling back from the treatment table/Serbian witchdoctors etc, there are signs a lot of them - Gerard and Torres included are very delicately poised on the edge of injury.

Rafa makes the wrong choices and he could lose 3 players by half time.

This is one we now need to be winning and I fancy us to do that. However a draw will keep the Dippers below us.

Well as Benitez said yesterday in this football interview on his favoured players, missing out on Barry was a massive blow for him. I just hope Barry can show a return to form on Saturday, we need something above the mediocre performances he's put in recently. He's capable of bossing the midfield. Maybe Benitez's comments will give him the confidence to demonstrate what Liverpool missed out on.

In an odd way I would like to see Torres play on Saturday especially if his injury is still not sorted. You cannot run full speed or even swing a leg properly with what he's got so he could be about as useful as Samaras up front. If he did try and push it then he could be out for weeks on end which could only be good news for us.
