I got a 38, same as always, but this actually feels a bit bigger than normal. Especially compared to last year's away.

yeah really weird: you can choose a shirt by it's chest measurement in inches. 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 52, 54. Just can't get my head around it. Do you have tape measures in CA?

xavi6 wrote:I got a 38, same as always, but this actually feels a bit bigger than normal. Especially compared to last year's away.

same question: do you have tape measures? It's either 38 ior its not.
Also do you have returns policies?

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Fat George Michael headed bastard.

I ordered one size up and it's fine.

And yes most Americans can measure their awesome chests. Mines a 46. Or rather a 44 but I buy a 46. Moobs need to breathe.

plus 44 inch chests usually come with 36 inch waists. Bellies need to breathe too

I'm not sure what your point is. I bought a 38 last year. It fits. I bought a 38 this year. It also fits.

However, this year's 38 is looser than last year's. It's not inconceivable that the sizing of a clothing garment is a little off. That's it, a helpful observations to those buying the new one.

So shove your tape measurer up your hoop tbh.

Yeah, helpful observations. But otherwise, fair nuff. Tape going up hoop now

I hope for your sake that it's a tailor's one as opposed to a carpet fitter's. Ouch.

Unless you septics wear your chests in some other place....you're about right.

I have noticed that some older septics seem to wear their trousers a long way above their waistlines. Are trousers in the USA sold by neck and/or chest sizes?

If they just put fucking s, m, l, xl, xxl on the tags instead of trying to be smart arses with the "tailored" bollocks when the shirts are not tailored they are just thrown together by some little fuckers in a sweat shop in Asia listening to gangnam style on repeat, it would be easier.

got my kit today and the complimentary euro scarf. relieved that the kit fits and looks awesome. much better than last year's home kit (which i also have)...no stupid collar here.

forgive my american ignorance/stupidity, but scarves like these aren't really meant for wearing, aside from
merely draping them around one's neck, are they? they're more for this, yes?:

yeah except this one has gotten "Manchester City FC" written on both sides with 2 crests on both sides
so it looks a tad weird worn because the letters and crests are all jumbled.

thanks anyways
