We could do with Torres missing this game or else we will get raped at the back, none of our back 4 are reasonably quick, other than Nedum and not sure he would be ready to start just yet after such a long lay-off.

My proposed line-up would differ drastically from some of the other choices, for a start there would be no Bridge, no Lescott, no Barry and no Adebayor, due in the main to their recent shocking performances, I don't think they deserve a place in the starting XI when they have contributed nothing to it, for the last 3-4 games.

---------------------------------Given

Zabaleta---------Toure---------------Kompany--------Sylvinho

SWP--------------de Jong------------Ireland-----------Weiss

-----------------------Tevez-------Bellamy

subs: Taylor, Garrido, Lescott, Johnson, Barry, Robinho, Adebayor

nothing wrong with a little shake up but thats way too many. We will look like strangers out there against a team who are built on possession football

I honestly thought about putting in Lescott but then I tried to remember why Kompany was dropped and remembered that the only reason really is because he was injured and when he played CB a few times this season he looked good... but you are probably right, dropping Lescott will not do much good either.

I definitely believe we need to play 4-3-3.

IF OUR DEFENSE PLAYS LIKE IT HAS DONE THE LAST FEW GAMES THEN LIVERPOOL WILL DICK US................AND DICK US ROYALY.

IF ON THE OTHER HAND, WE GET OUR ACT TOGETHER THEN WE ARE VERY CAPABLE OF COMING AWAY WITH THE SPOILS.

PERSONANLY I RECKON WE WILL GET DICKED........UNFORTUNATLEY.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Liverpool v Man City (KO 1245 GMT)

The good news for Liverpool is that it looks like Steven Gerrard has got himself fit, although I'm not sure that Fernando Torres will make this one. Manchester City had four players starting for England last week so it's not as if they've had a rest and that could be a factor.

I think Manchester City now have players capable of taking the game to Liverpool and that might suit the home side as a lot of teams go to Anfield and shut up shop. But this could be an open game and Liverpool will like that.

Verdict: 1-0

Lawro speaks and its a Liverpool win! does he ever predict them to lose?
