I think the problem started early doors in the transfer window, when our targets weren't achievable. For some reason, we had to pile bodies in, and tbh, not one of them is up to the level. maybe in future, but not now.
If we had kept the two we sold, we would have had stability. I think Mancini sees the need to add each window, which is easy, when the hardest thing is to leave alone.
Last season was the first this squad played together, so they should have been more familiar second time around. Instead, as well as tinkering with systems, we are bedding new players in who are not of the quality of those signed in the past. Milner and Lescott are now frozen out, if we rotate the squad any more, we will spin out of control.
Back to basics with last years team who bonded well, Micah, Barry, Milner, Lescott, and only bring the new players in if and when it's merited, instead of trying to justify their transfer immediately.

I don't see how standing Martinez next Yaya Toure & watching him try to conjure something with five Germans in front of him, whilst Hazard & Van Persie stood 40 yards up the pitch, next to Dortmund's defenders, would have changed anything.
Mancini produced one of the worst tactical fuck ups I've ever seen on Wed night, & actually succeeded in making it worse, even though he had a full 90 mins to deal with the problem.
There are no excuses about players or anything else. If that is truly the best he can do with the players he has available he should resign. 90% of managers in the competition would have set that team up better.

You need to have a lie down Ted, Jose is 8 point adrift in Spain, Dortmund need a Bayern collapse does both need to resign, All the top teams are tinkering . We are unbeaten we are champions and we are sick of the revolving door. Grow up and enjoy MCFC, FFS. If this is so easy how the Fuck did Bayern get mullered after winning every game by walloping teams 4s and 5s. Dortmund played fantastic, they did last year and Marseille scored a wonder goal with the last kick of the game and see ya later OUT. Form comes and goes and Yes Joelon is in he is out, Milner dropped, but c,mon neither are gonna get in any other top side and be un-droppable, Vinny looks stressed I agree something is not right I think we miss the Bulldog De Jong was and the banter he brought to the lads, but c'mon get a fucking grip. Nothing is easy this is MCFC.

I'm saying that IF that's the best Mancini can do with that squad ie; IF a lack of players is the excuse for that performance, then he should fuck off & give someone else a chance.
IE the idea that Mancini can't do better, and that we are lacking players are both fucking ridiculous. Of course he can do better & of course he could do better with the players available. DeJong or no DeJong; the whole argument is ridiculous.
On the night, Mancini was shite & he can & will do better, just like Jose etc.

RM is tweeking and getting some of it wrong, agreed, Dortmund are a fantastic team if you had a 15yr old like I have who follows all leagues you would know that it was a very dangerous game, You might know this Ted ? like many in the East stand there does appear to be a lack of knowledge on a team like Dortmund who counter attack and press high up the pitch. Wed they were superb, we on the other hand should have scored 3 times in the 1st half and all season have missed easy chances to dictate the game Silv Nasri and Kun should be taking the chances. Garcia going off left us with with a big problem and Yaya was caught to deep to oftern but at the end of the day some how we got a draw, Move on and learn double quick, Roberto will do this what we do not need is a lack of paitence and the phone in style bollocks we had when we were sinking with FRANNY.

Once again.
I have posted many times that I want to keep Mancini, even if we win fuck all.
If I believed that Wed night was the best Mancini can do, I wouldn't have been arguing his case. The players could have done better without a manager. He was diabolical. I don't believe that is the best he can do, so I continue in my opinion that I want to keep him, even if we win fuck all.
That doesn't excuse Wed night, which was a pathetic showing for a man of his talents & had fuckall to do with missing players or new signings. It was his fault.
Mancini presided over an absolute disaster on Wed, not because of the result, but because of how we played into their hands. I can accept losing if we have a sensible plan & the oppo is better.
Imo, Mancini was Dortmund's biggest asset on Wed & he should be ashamed of himself. He is better than that & so are his team.

That just makes it worse for me. Dortmund's players didn't actually get it right but still wiped the floor with us 2nd half. At one point in the first half, there were five of their players & just David Silva in the middle. He turned & passed the ball straight through the lot of them. No way should he have been allowed to do that, but he is quality & their midfield did a shite job on him at that time.
Dortmund's players were nowhere near as good as we made them look, but Mancini got his arse kicked by their manager.

Ted lets just see where a lot of that team end up, Dortmund will always sell players on, they are a top class team with a couple of titles on the spin despite the riches of Bayern.

I'm not saying they are not good players (but their star man from last season is so so in the Prem so it's not cut & dried) but I'm saying that initially, they failed badly to carry out their coach's plan & that should have lost them the game. Once they started to do their jobs properly, their tactics shat on ours. Had the players done it correctly from kick off, I don't think we would have had many chances to score, but they didn't get it right & that just makes me feel even worse about not beating them.
