"If everyone believes in it you should do it together, we shouldn't have sheep wandering off, I think it gives the wrong message. All the players are wearing it. I have only heard that Jason Roberts is different. But he is very different: he plays a game and is in the studio 20 minutes after it. That is a great privilege."

How long has this campaign been going on, yet how much difference has it made other than people waving banners around ?
The people who take any notice of it, are those who don't need it in the first place. Those who really need to change, are not responding to it at all & even the football governing bodies of many countries, plus UEFA, are trying to sweep it under the carpet rather than deal with it.
You only have to look at the situation with Porto & City; we received a bigger UEFA fine for being a bit late for kick off, than Porto did for allowing their fans to racially abuse our players without any attempt to stop them (then seeking to cover it up).

Did "Let's kick it out" make any comment about events in Serbia? If not then they have a point. Many battles have been won against racism in football, but the war can still be lost. You won't win such a war by silence or empty gestures.
Ted Hughes wrote:If I was a black footballer, & subject to that kind of shit, this discussion would be irrelevant as I would have walked off well before now. Plus, if I was captain of a team & my players were subject to it, I would take them off.
If all players, irrespective of race, supported the black lads, & just refused to play, there would be no more racism in football grounds, end of. FIFA would find a way of stopping it, as it would start to hurt them in the area where they truly care; the pocket.
"If Danny Rose, who I think acted excellently in the whole thing, and his team-mates walk off the pitch when they first hear racist abuse, guaranteed Uefa will start to change things."

so acc to form taggart is going to deal with it, their on about it now on the radio, who will the rag loving media side with on this one, quite a quandry for them.
"At the press conference yesterday I spoke to the press about it. It is embarrassing for me. He will be dealt with, no doubt about that," Ferguson told Sky Sports in reference to Rio.
Ferguson underlined his annoyance on the club's website.
"I'm disappointed. We did that in support of the PFA (Professional Footballers' Association) and every player in the country should have adhered to that.
"We're all wearing the badges and he goes and lets us all down. We'll deal with it, don't worry."
