Happy with that..strongest team possible if you allow for Tevez to come off the bench ron.

It's a strong team but we lose that extra half of a midfield player when Tevez doesn't play. The others don't do the job he does.

Interesting take on JL, Ted. Made me think, for sure. I don't rate him, but you make valid points. I would play that defence every game, come what may. It's the best we've got.

Agreed. I suspect we will be very defensive, very tight tonight and try and counter. Wouldn't surprise me if he sets out for a 0-1, or poss a 1-2.

line up pretty all as expected, a part for Kolarov, who I thought would have started, giving the almost certainty of Edin upfront - Bob is stubborn but far from an idiot and Edin, my Romanian mate, is the first striker he chased.

very sensible a very much true. but it's very hard to drop sergio as well. also I think that, he's obviously to young to fully features that role, but it's right to start experiencing him with that role: potentially he has all to do what tevez does, with a little more pace too.

I won't be worried about Your original concern re Edin starting/impacting. Certainly Ajax ain't a catenaccio team, so he will have room to play his game, if properly supported.
