Just listening to Stu Brennan on TalkSport and he's sounding like a real journo without any agenda or bias.

Good man, stikcing up for us in all corners. Just stated how long it took United, Chelsea and Arsenal (never) to get anywhere in the CL and also that we've still got an outside chance. Still unbeaten in the league, always a pleasure to hear.

I'm not sure if this forum helped but there were quite a few reasonable posts that didn't attack him, more tried to give a Blues point of view.

Whatever it was, he came across really well, even provoked, and nearly sounded a Blue.

Ex-City and Everton striker Branch jailed for seven years after pleading guilty to drug dealing

By Paul Collins
PUBLISHED:17:37 GMT, 8 November 2012| UPDATED: 17:37 GMT, 8 November 2012
Sent down: Former Everton player Michael Branch sentenced to Seven Years for selling drugs

Former Everton and Manchester City striker Michael Branch has been jailed for seven years after he pleaded guilty to selling drugs.

Branch, who has also played for Birmingham City and Wolves, appeared at Chester Crown Court and pleaded guilty to two charges.

The 34-year-old, whose last club was Northern Premier League side Burscough, was charged with handing over just under 3kg of amphetamine to another man in a car park in Liverpool.

The second charge was related to the seizure of 1kg high-purity (82percent) cocaine from his Otterspool home on July 10.

The prosecution was brought by the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA).

A spokesman said: ‘This was significant criminality committed by someone who would once have been viewed as a role model.

‘The message here is that entering the illegal drugs trade is a route to prison, not to financial gain and a celebrity lifestyle.’

Branch made his debut for the Everton first team in 1996, when he was just 18. He was sold to Wolves in 2000 for £500,000. He finished his playing career with Burscough in 2010.

The media today and of the last two weeks has been manic, Would sombody for what it would be worth the Barca mob or the club releasing some statement of Hi, Bobby is the man for us, blah blah, I get the feeling the heat is on full and it could be turned down if we wanted.

I think a whopping 5 year contract and the statement that the Premier League is our goal this season says it more.

Yeah Man.
IT might be a couple of further titles and a CL final at very least, in the added time given by the Owner and quite remarkably earned with a decent balance of hard, positive work and human mistakes. The Sheikh and the Chairman are shrewd enough people who knows the value of stability, the silliness in changing from a positive proven imperfection to a jump in to unknown and had already proven it, also allowing a very large room of time and money to a total success free previous incumbent, who they inherited, rather than carefully selected by Them.
Despite the above simple and logical equation, Media, Neutrals and a significant slice of Citizens (apparently) keep pushing hard, desperate to see the reality overturned.

Keep Your cool and enjoy the ride (few setbacks included), Mate: it won't happen anyhow!

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Over the past two weeks I have thought things will change, wishfull thinking NO. Bobby has been fantastic. I am honest, I would take Guardiola, as Phase 3. If we get anywhere near what Barca have been I would bite your arm and leg off. I am a Pep fan and would prefer him here that at Chelsea.

Not fair but hey ees football

Not sure I'd want another manager who would have to learn the language while managing the team if we ever get rid of Bob. So that rules Pep out (and any Scottish/Geordie manager too)

I saw this too, incredible that they describe him as 'ex-city' when reporting something negative.

Everton 41 apps
City 4 apps
Birmingham 1 app
Wolves 71 apps
Reading 2 apps
Hull 7 apps
Bradford 33 apps
Chester 60 apps

I forgot to add RE: Stadium Tour.

City know that they don't get fair treatment from the media. In the media room the tour guide mentioned they've put things going all the way around the media room on the walls to show what City are doing in the community and with the new training complex, etc.
