Just to satisfy a mate's curiosity and for truth's sake:
I never committed any crime in UK, unless, possibly, getting home (obviously not by driving on my own) from parties, totally drunk, earlier on my youth. sadly, those days are long passed away.
I've never been charged of any crime nowhere in the whole world!
what the cheating crook is referring to as a crime is:
during the train trip from Glasgow to Manchester, early on the day of the City game at the Bernabeu, I happen to go to the toilet. it was a busy moment at the toilet, as I had to wait before two persons ahead of me and other two after me. Almost aside on the carriage, the woman in charge of ticket inspection and travellers' host was working out hers bollox. Apparently, and when I already had come back to my seat inside the carriage, she smelled cigarette smoke and felt under suspicion that I was the one!, out of 5 who used the toilet, who smoked or presumably smoked a cigarette or a cigar inside the toilet.
As it happened, at the next stop (Lancaster, if memory assists), she decided to alert the Bobby on duty at the station, who was forced to step inside the train, went into my carriage and asked me to stand up to a have a word aside, in a very polite and almost embarassed manner. I gladly followed him, present myself and offered to present identity docs as well, but he deemed it not to be necessarely; then he said me of the woman suspicion and asked me if I actually had smoked. providing that it's a forbidden action. I replied that, despite being a smoker, I was fully aware of the prohibition and rightly so I did not smoke: as evidence I offered him to smell my breath, but he replied it was certainly not necessary, shook my hand and got down. I returned to my seat and the train started to the next destination, while I politely informed the compulsive crook and hypocritical liar - of what happened.

If my memory serves well, he also accused me to have made severely racist statements against Muslims. on this account i cannot assist Your curiosity because I am not even aware of what the hell he was raving at.

My only actual crime has been to completely misjudge a crook for a friend, hosting him at my home and pay two holidays to him, the second of which using almost part of funds I supposed to spend my own vacation, because he didn't even had the decency to advise that he was coming from thailand totally skint, after I had already advanced to him funds to book most part of those lodgings.
As a result, I ended the last day of the first holidays I offered to myself since my Dad passed away two years ago, totally skint and with both my cash card and credit card, useless having exceeded the monthly limits of withdrawal.
You never ends to learn in life, particularly if You are naive enough to keep believing in friendship!

Hey guys, I wasn't aware I'd been bullied as I never revisited the thread. Can't completely remember what I said but I was pretty upset at the time as I had accidentally read Mancio saying really nasty things about me behind my back to someone he knows I don't like and that led to my falling out with him as my anger built over that day. His "crime" wasn't remotely serious, it was the fact he blatantly lied to me after he was caught saying he hadn't done it at all that astonished me, given I knew full well that he had committed the same offence several times already during our travels and had already admitted that. Whatever, I'm over it and that isn't why I don't visit here often any more - it is my rage at the moaners that makes me stay away.

Re the FFP, I am hopeful it can be beaten but not confident. I have never claimed to be better qualified to discuss it, I have just made myself well informed on the issue and am reasonably qualified to discuss it. TTFN.
