Boxing Day Games

Hopefully a bit of boxing at the Brittania later whilst a good run-around from Chelsea might see Norwich's legs a little empty when they meet us.

Oh, come on the Toon!

Man Utd v Newcastle 15:00
Norwich v Chelsea 15:00

Scum bring in Paul Scholes & Javier Hernandez for Tom Cleverley & Wayne Rooney for their match against Newcastle.
Hope they lose 3-0 today!

Rooney was gash at Swansea, missed some sitters. I wonder if he's been caught-out again having a few bevvies?

LOL ... QPR's meeting with West Brom has been delayed until 3.15pm due to traffic holding up the Baggies' team coach.

I felt the same way before and I actually completely forgot the Villa-Spurs game.
Couple of whiskeys have helped a bit though.. Nice to see Stoke beating Liverpool but our defeat still hurts so that I just can't enjoy this like I would usually do

Paul lambert is harping on about the youth element of his side too much now. He sounds like O'Leary with his keeds side years ago when they were turning to shit... Villa are awful

Having just watched the scum win on MotD I still wonder how they can get to the last 10 minutes of a game and create absolutely wide open gilt edged chances.Where the hell do the defenders go to? The same scenario for City and we had a spell of 3 or 4 shots in one attack and every time there were 8 or 9 defenders in and around the ball inside the box defending as if their lives depended on it.

But there can be elements of luck which you just cant allow for. Their first goal was a blocked/deflected shot which just broke to Evans to tap in.The RVP goal was a poor first effort from the infallible striker but it rebounded back to him so he could have another go.And then inexplicably for the last one in injury time 2 defenders (maybe 6) decide to switch off so that Hernandez can score but there were 3 scum players basically behind the back line.

I think this is what's pissing me off more this season, Uniteds uncanny knack of winning games. Newcastle was the perfect example. 3 times in the lead yet they lose it in stoppage time. This happens time and again and for the life of me I cannot understand how a team can just throw caution to the wind in a game against them. Even when they were winning they didn't sure up the defence.

Look at Reading in that 1st half, beating them 1-0 and then forward to 3-2. Theyend up losing 4-3 but they actually played some football. Contrast that to the double decker at ours.

United are winning games that they look as though they should be losing which makes it even harder to take when we don't get a result. Looking at AG7s thread they are 6 points up on last season after 19 games which could give them 92 points if they mirrored it. That's not a bad total for someone who can let 3 in at Reading or 3 in at home to the Toon. It's like watching a Kevin Keegan game, all entertainment but not for the faint-hearted.
