Clarke did a McCarthy and is focusing on the Fulham game on New Years Day. It was a stroll just before the Rags exhaustive trip all the way to Wigan. Not bad really, only having to travel 30 miles over a busy fixture period.

Nice goal from Walcott, the commentator is implying it was "Henry-esque". Can't really disagree.

Then shows he's clearly offside.

he's playing off the last defender, I didn't see the replay but didn't have the impression he was offside at the time.

I didn't see it, it was the commentator who said it from the replay.

They probably saw the close replay from Walcott's side of the pitch, the longer one showing the whole back line has Santon playing him onside.

Hopefully get a look later although commentator has just re-iterated that he was a yard offside. Nice finish though.

It should probably be on Match of the Day. And bear in mind this was Chris Waddle (former Newcastle player) saying it was onside and a good goal for ESPN's coverage.

Fuck me, there all over Newcastle aren't they. Newcastle not won here for 60 odd years, Newcastle haven't won on the last game of the year since day dot.

Oh, and now Arsenal have to do it all again. Things never change, it's nearly as bad as the Fox Sport commentary on our game (sounded like Paul Walsh).

It's quite a decent game, considering one team is a small town team from the north east apparently.

You can tell, they've just let the 3rd in. I see some weaknesses in Arsenals defence though. Hopefully we'll take advantage of that next month.

Edit: Ba, 3-3. Marveaux with the assist and he's still sat on my bench.

They're going to outscore our game at this rate, I was hoping we'd be on MOTD first.
