With a team that is going to have him as their main striker and play to his strengths he'll score a lot of goals. We never did that. That's why he's gone.

Does Mancini get 100% from any of our players? it seems they turn to mediocrity more often than they excel.

Fucks me off no end.

The only player I can think of who's moved forward since joining under Bob is Clichy.

Maybe Zaba but I think he was always going to get there.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

It depends on how you see it. Barry, Milner, Kompany, De JOng, Tevez, perhaps Silva... They've all improved immensely under Mancini, although I'm sure that a lot of people would disagree on Silva. I feel he has evolved his repertoire in City and would neer have been the player he is now elsewhere. But yes, in many ways he seems to be the guy who also has the ability to destroy the confidence of a player. And he likes to buy expensive forwards and not play to their strength.

On the other hand, Tevez was magnificent for the first 1,5 years he had under Mancini.

So... I just don't know. I see what you're getting at though and have to say that to a certain extent, I agree with you.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Clichy was just as good at Arsenal - except his final season there, when his head had already left the club.

I sincerely doubt that someone who uses 'u' instead of 'you' to get their point across has the argumentative nous to 'rip apart' several dozen regular posters' facts and opinions.

Having a look at your posts, when referring to Manchester City Football Club, you continually use 'you' (or variants thereof) and 'City'. You've signed up (at least) twice implying that you're a fan of the club, rather than being honest and stating who you support. I'd hazard a guess that this could be the reason for your ban...
