I'm not sure how much tongue was shoved in howmuch cheek for that post Mate....but...
Regarding the "League is fucked" statement, you could well be more accurate than you realise, only time will tell and we may already have gone beyond the tipping point.
Regarding the term "Conspiracy Theorists", it has become a horribly subversive term, often/usually used by the powerful, that has become corrupted to ridicule any person or group that challenges them. It is too often used as a tool to subvert free thinking.
That is not to say that all conspiracy theorists are right. Plenty are just plain nutters.

Hey, has anyone seen gary neville's new United advertisement on sky? It's on pretty much every break. I sincerely hope they will be doing it for every club in the premier league.
Even if they do, it's charming that they have their chief analyst advertising one team.
It's relentless.

It's not about us, it's about the good of football, which the four clubs mentioned (+ Everton in the past) have been working against for 30 years.
Phips:
This vote is protectionist in nature, it's about club owners taking money out of football and no longer investing. The next sensible move would be to stop relegation/promotion. Then, with guaranteed income for everyone, it will free up the big clubs to go for their own TV deals to thoroughly exploit the game. Fucking disgusting we let these Americans do this. To use an analogy, they're trying to do to football what the grey squirrel population did to the the indigenous red population, but with the help of the latter.

It is partly about us. I don't think it will impact on us too much.
But yes there is a bigger picture and it disgusted me that a group of owners of a select band of clubs can make a decision that will resonate through the leagues and down the years. What fucking right have they got to fuck football up, so they can line their pockets.
Shameful.

Yes, I didn't mean we have no interest in it, but as you say, it's utterly shameful (& illegal, I reckon).
