I believe this to be true. If Chelsea do the job properly, they will be ours for the taking. Especially as it looks like they may well have a lot of games around this match.

doubt it...they had their shot at the swamp and failed to take it, unfortunately. baconator will have them (and the ref) better prepared for the replay.

I suspect that's too close to the semi final for ticket sales and, more importantly, sorting out policing with potentially City fans travelling down from Manchester and rags having to fly in.

It would make more sense for the replay to be a weekend in advance of the derby, which would give us chance to close the gap. Yes, they'd have a game in hand, but it could be 9 points, plus any other dropped points by the time of the derby. Could they take the pressure?

On the Semi final tickets last time due to the close proximity of the games im sure the tickets said two names Rags/whoever it was.

Oh and i think the draw was good to us tbh, i'd rather take the Ragglers or Chelsea in the semis.

Oh part two i'll most likely have a ticket for sale as im more than likely christening my baby on that Sunday.

Do you have to buy one for the semi even if you can't go? I thought the cup scheme only applied to home games.

Perhaps not the smartest idea to advertise a potential spare ticket. Expect a flood of begging PM's. Just sent mine now :)

pathetic... so some folk think we can't win the PREMIER League....suddenly the FA Cup is THE trophy to win.
With the squad we have CHAMPIONS LEAGUE/PREMIERSHIP should be priority, anything else is a consolation prize.

What a load of shite. Never should City fans be so arrogant as to turn our noses up at a major trophy. Winning the Fa Cup would be fantastic

This smacks of the same arrogance that we accuse (and despise them for) the rags of showing. The Premiership is the priority and of course we wanted a successful Champions League campaign, unfortunately it looks as if we are going to fail with the former and the latter was ultimately a shambles. For a club that has only won 2 major trophies in the last 36 years another FA Cup would still be a great achievement and something that I would be very proud of

I admit I'm disappointed with the size of the points gap between us and 1st place but winning the FA Cup will be a great feeling yet again. Imagine if we beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Semi-Final and beat Wigan 3-0 in the Final? That'll be an FA Cup won without conceding a goal throughout the run and also set up a Community Shield clash with United to start the following season.

If someone offered you a ticket in May then would you decline it?

Absolute bollox of the highest order.

Since when do we have the right to turn our noses up at the FA Cup, or any other trophy for that matter.

We've hardly had the trophy polisher rushed off his feet for 30 odd years, then we win 1 Prem title and 1 FA Cup, and suddenly the FA Cup is a consolation prize? Have a word with yourself.

To be fair I agree with judy in the sense that we under preformed with the squad we have available as our champions league have been shambles and 12 points behind United. However in my opinion the FA cup is and always will be the most prestigious cup. It's the money side of it that ruins it's reputation.

We can still win the Double. Until it is impossible, I for one am not giving up.

Maybe I am the only one round here who isn't though.

I wept buckets when we lost to Spurs in '81. League still a faint hope but that's declining by the game. I'm still getting used to this winning a trophy lark so another Fa cup is not to be sniffed at.

I havent. I fantasize about us smashing them twice in one week and them crumbling. I daydream about their demise and our resurrection at least once a day.

The FA Cup is a brilliant competition. Winning it again would be superb. Consolation prize? Ridiculous.
