the "misunderstanding" could be because rather than referring to them as "Dzeko fanboys" ant used the term "Bosnian Spastics". I guess it would be difficult for ant to be racist and live the life he does, but that's clumsy language and it should be easy to see why Herb reacted as he did and at least one of our Bosnian posters has also called it out.
I'd have thought a few "ant's alright" posts would be better than some of the stuff thrown at Herb, but hey ho each to their own.

BTW Herb, ant's alright. Most of the time.

I'm from Ashton-under-Lyne.

Or was that aimed at R_H? He claimed to have been born in a village with mud huts once, so on second thoughts it probably was.

Can we not keep the threads on topic?
There seems a lot of name calling by fellow blues.
Mutual respect and tolerance would be good!

Not 100% sure what you're saying?
If BM has worse name calling so what?
I think fellow blues should be more tolerant to fellow fans and our team.

The thing is....I only actually posted it mainly as a tongue-in-cheek thing to annoy cit.revenge as I think he does actually think i hate Bosnians due to my dislike of Dzonkey. That got exactly the reaction I was seeking from our Bosnian friend (who, for the record, I do actually think is a decent enough poster)...and then came the bastard child of Soccs and Mary Whitehouse

I'm not going to waste my time explaining that I've got a friend who is black etc etc as those of you who have any idea about me know that's pretty unnecessary. Herb does sound like a sanctimonious knobhead though and I'd thought that long before his laughable racist "accusation". I stand by my statement that I am anti-knobhead...unless they are a good knobhead like the PenisAnimal

You make a pretty stupid statement that's open to misinterpretation then call the person who misinterprets it a knobhead - I think you're projecting personally. Having said that, I'm pretty sure I've been inflammatory one or twice myself (and fully confess to being a knobhead).

well i think Edin is brilliant. I want city to keep him, if only as has been proved this week, that tiki taki football is only one alternative.

On the basis of his last quiet game, you say his attitude is shit ?

I do appreciate that it's not working and that he must go. I'll wish him all the best and hope he does well in future. I'll never forget some of the vital goals he scored for us though. However I'm Happy to see the back him.

Dzeko has had great games and shit games like all players, but the reason he is question more than others is because of the position he plays. His goals have been vital to the success of our club, but more times than not, in ordinary games against middle table opposition with a bit of grit, he has simply been not good enough. He has squandered chance after chance and stopped flowing moves due to his poor touch.
The way he moves looks clumsy, slow and uninterested. Not for one second do I think he doesn't try, but at times I do question his intent to succeed at this club.
If his heart isn't here, then allow him to leave and join a club he likes.
Loved him at the beginning, patience wearing very thin now.
