Much like those who were toasting Thatchers death I would find celebrating his departure as a sign of our own failure.

No smoke without fire, and I guess its from a more reputable source than the Daily Tits

Just came on here to post this. Got an email from a journalist friend in the past 30 mins. Don't know if it's from the same source. Will check.

Makes you wonder if Mourinho is at it with this Chelsea love in.

His attitude at OT this year was one of a man who was at a job interview.

It doesn't mean U***** want him though does it. Maybe in Jose's own deluded little world he thinks they love him?

Seems as if it's been speculated for a few days, and everyone was waiting for the first to bolt, but articles were already written in anticipation...

Who else could go in and start winning straight off the bat? There is a big question mark over Moyles head. He has never had money, never managed in the CL, never won a trophy and has never had to deal with a side full of stars.

All seems a bit odd off the back of these comments:

"Ferguson had appeared to brush aside the prospect of standing down this summer when he insisted in his programme notes prior to Sunday’s Old Trafford defeat against Chelsea that, "I certainly don’t have any plans at the moment to walk away from what I believe will be something special".

Ferguson said: "This team of champions is not going away - we are here for the long ride.
"We will get better and if we apply ourselves in our normal fashion, I see our 20th league title as nothing but the start of another decade of success.

“Whether I will be here to oversee another decade of success remains to be seen, but I certainly don't have any plans at the moment to walk away from what I believe will be something special and worth being around to see.”

Sounds to me like a rumour started, a few punters have scared the bookies, and the bookies cutting their odds is the only source of speculation. I'm not getting excited yet, and I'm really not comfortable with the prospect of mourinho going there

Cant see Moureen going straight in. He'd want to change the style to his own and I cant see them allowing it. More letting Giggs step up and Bacon as an advisor and see how it goes imo.

I would be staggered if they did that.

They spent 2 decades recovering from the transition from busby, having the old cunt hanging around, interfering, having the fans call for him to come back every time they have a few off games is a recipe for disaster for them. I'd be really surprised ifnthey made that mistake again - its gotta be a clean break
