Absolute disgrace of a footballer. Please fuck off from our club. It's all about the name on back of his shirt. His work rate in that second half knocked me sick!!!! An overrated lamp post stealing a living and being propped up by fanboys that blame everyone but their darling.

Get rid of this fucking DONKEY and get Cavani in.

Just wondering if you ever copy and paste from bluemoon? Stuggling with sleep tonight and I could swear I just read a post word for word on the Dzeko thread on bluemoon.

I will be vwry disappointed if he leaves here without fulfilling his potential. We know what he is capable of from Germany, and his goalscoring record is better than anyone else at the club bar Tevez in recent mcfc history.

We get all this hate from the likes of Maxxi, despite the fact he still regularly puts the ball in the back of the net, which he does regularly, in fact more regularly than any other player in the premier league, yet we still criticise.

In addition, the goals he has scored have all been critical, almost always a matchwinner, rather than the easy tap ins at 3.0 up which Aguero seems to specialise in. Out of the two, if the truth be told, I would rather have a Dzeko in shit form than an Aguero, because aguero doesnt even get himself into positions to finish when he's out of form, wheras Dzeko does ha e that happy knack of doing fuck all then scoring (like last night)

Its things like this which really makes me want to see how this squad would do with another manager, with a proper motivator behind him, and playing to his strengths, I think Dzeko would easily be amongst the top scorers in the premier league every season and we probably wouldnt be labouring to 1.0 home wins against West Brom

you are right. We need to strengthen , not weaken the squad. If Tevez wasn't so greedy last night Edin could easily have scored two , if not three.

Tevez was miles above anyone last night and created everything.

If dzeko put half the effort into setting up his fellow players as Tevez did, Tevez might have had a goal too!

From my memory Tevez put it on dzekos feet at least twice and others went for his head a bunch of times, he was simply not moving enough.

That's a fair point but I expect our strikers to do everything well and then perhaps we'd score more goals instead of hanging on to a precarious 1-0 score line

yeah, and i expect our midfielders to do their bit too and David Silva needs to up his game. His nickname is Merlin, he should be dealing in Magic and he hasn't this season . I expect players like tevez , silva to seek the best open striker not just 'always Sergio' .

They are all great players and Roberto has to get them more 'team orientated ' for the next season

You're criticising the player who has created the second highest number of goal scoring opportunities in the premier league this season? For fuck's sake I really do despair. Have you considered the reason why they hardly pass to Dzeko is cos his first touch is diabolical and tends to break down our moves. He is usually out opposition's best defensive midfielder

I think he means in box , maybe i m wrong , u can spot against West Brom few times Edin was in great position did not get the ball and that hapen a lot , more when Aguero and Silva play. Nasri and Tevez play better with him. Ok we agree hes not for open play he often has shit atitude , but they often give him ball when it is mark no deep balls no counter really poor cross. Tevez hit him once in box and goal .They should give him ball like Milner few times that night he either shoot or try to driblle Edin in perfect position where hes best..I know i have no wright like others to talk abaut him but many people are really treat him us scapegoat . even when he score goals and very good goal from hard position and he score from 14 goals 10 wining ones hes not good enough to not shit abaut him.So we all agree hes not for this tactic but he can't be crap if he score more then Aguero and Tevez in tactic not really good for him just not add up.But hes soon to be gone so why we not give him pass last month at list for goal against QPR.

Hands up re the Dzeko goal last night - even those who don't hold the guy in high regard must surely have appreciated that one moment at least? Great ball from Tevez (MotM in my opinion) - ball coming in fast and high but he hit the volley without hesitation and it was a true peach of a goal - a goal to celebrate and one that brought us a win and 3 precious points instead of the heartache of a draw.

I'm happy that he's off because he just doesn't fit in with our systems of play but I also respect the guy for the excellent and sometimes critical goals that he's scored for us and also for the fact that he's always been respectful to the club and the fans - he's been the perfect gent - not even so much as given the finger to bedroom evangelists who prattle on about him as if they're better than he could ever be.

As an aside I should mention that he's also brought a welcome number of new fans to the fold - we all start supporting for a reason and once it gets a grip it's with us forever, so I'm sure that many of those who were initially attracted by Dzeko joining us will be with us for life and bring their children up as Blues also (provided they can stomach the few fascists that regularly cause angst and upset by their misplaced and hateful references to race in a football forum).
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I am not Dzeko's biggest fan but wondering how people are shitting all over this performance, he scored, his movement was good, he was dragging two defenders around pretty much all the time.

I'd be right up for slating him normally, but if you are crapping on that performance you are reaching for Carl/Lescott levels of paranoia.

The goal was a quality finish, but until that moment he hardly looked interested. After it he took up a few decent positions and it woke him up a bit. Not much though.

look, i am not trying to defend Edin, not at all, but people come on here and slate the guy, when it is a team thing. for example, i could argue that the guy is the best striker for running blind, for running empty, making space. Because with our Caballeros, he doesn't get a look in... he needs to make space for them.
