I can imagine they did, he probs got angry about it! haha.

I think the fans down at Reading sang fo different reasons none of which I care to second guess. Also listening on telly or whatever as it comes across is always different from what it might be about at a game. I took it as a big thanks and a bit of a minor protest of sorts.

Just for the record I'm certainly not telling anyone what they should do, the OP was just to try and set out what looked sensible in all this and make a call to remember the bigger picture. There are always different interpretations and feelings from all of us as it should be, no-one had quite set out what i was thinking myself so just thought to share it etc etc.

I'm still not over the departure of Keegan, so this one will take a while !!

Seriously though, the poster and some others brought up some good points and more or less expressed how I felt/feel about Roberto Mancini. He brought us some happy times and some exciting football for most of the time he was in charge and I for one will forever be grateful to him for what he did. However it was very clear this season, that things were not right at the club on many levels and this was translated into some lackluster performances and some strange results which culminated in the FA Cup final disaster.
Mancini's treatment of Balo in the weeks leading up to his departure to Italy was a good example of how a manager should not handle a player. I felt and I might have posted something along these lines at the time, that the Balo case might ultimately cost Mancini his job and I'm sure that in the end it played a big role in the owner's decision to let him go.
So life goes on and let's hope for better days ahead. Come on City !
