You need a weekend in Barca mate Busquetes is a 24yr old living legend with every trophy won a player from the ranks, If you need a refference to him search Xavi's comments on him. Yaya was a good un never ever a great, which at Barca is some going at 24. I am a socio member and I am telling you Yaya was liked but not in a million yrs rated like Sergio B is.

I'm sure Sergio B is liked more than Yaya but that says nothing about who's the better player. Barca fans see Sergio B as a living legend and better than Yaya? Fine, I see that as ludicrous. As defensive midfielders, overall midfielders, centre backs and attacking midfielders, Yaya surpasses Busquets in every department. Barry in many respects as well by the way.

Had Busquets not been a product of Barcelona's academy he would have lingered in a club like Seville or something like that. Relatively good but mediocre from our perspective.

All about opinions mate, Busquetes does it every game is there anything else to say other than Yaya does it for a minute every game if we are lucky, Yaya is defo a top player he is also a liability targeted IMO by teams looking to CA us, Barry has been his get out of jail card so many times, facts are facts Barca bombed him for mad money TO US WITH A PROFIT OF WHAT 25 MILL knowing they had the better team player and a future of 12 yrs with SB. I have seen very little from Yaya SINCE HIS NEW DEAL.

Jupp Heynckes agrees with you. I heard him say t'other day that Schweinsteiger was the best midfielder in the world and only Biscuits comes close.

Btw Barca made a profit of £11m on Yaya. They bought him for around £7m and paid Monaco another £6m sell on fee from the £24m they got from us.

Toure never deserved to lose his place. He was superb the year they won everything but at Barcelona whenever it is a close call between two players, and one happens to be Catalan, the other one always loses out. Busquets’ father, Carles, played in goal for Barcelona and would have shared a dressing room with the then Barca coach Pep Guardiola. Now Busquets Jnr is the apple of Pep’s eye and Toure has suffered.
Anyway as Gareth is the best DM there has ever been or ever will be,I suppose we should forget helping him and just extend his contract for another 10 years.

The best I have seen live this year was Sven Bender -Dortmund he makes the team tick over plus has the side of his game to nail Tranny 3 times and not get booked and laff at him.

Anyone who pisses Ronaldo off is a hero in my eyes, that's why I always remember Michael Ball fondly, he made up for his general shitness in a City shirt with that stamp on the ladyboy. Bender was excellent against us too but I do wonder if he's taken out of that set up how good he would be. I thought Sahin looked class for Dortmund but he's flopped since he left them.

It's about time someone rescued Mascherano from Barca, he's wasted in defence. Apart from him being a cnut of a person (and almost 29) I wouldn't mind if he joined.

Some outstanding work in this thread. Outstanding. And a couple of nibbles here and there but I see you didn't get the full CHOMP you were looking for. Exaggerating, windining up.... Even the old favourite "experts" being thrown out in one post.

Hats off, you're a worker when it comes to this stuff. I'm not surprised you get so frustrated when almost everyone just bypasses your tripe - I suppose that's what was always gonna happen when you do what you do.

Well, I'll always be here to bump up your posts. Obviously, I'll never again speak on topic with you, because it's completely pointless. But I'll be here to cheer you on.

Keep up the good work raggers!

Sorry, didn't see this post until now. Well you're right it's about opinions in many ways and I'm not saying I know I'm right, this is just what I believe to be true. And to be honest, I haven't seen that much of bisquits this season so he might have improved a lot. If that's the case I bow my head and admit I'm wrong, so to speak.

But what I will say and which I really really really really really think is true is that when Barca let go of Yaya, he was much better than Bizzy B.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
