It's good, but it's not right

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

Sounds like he's putting on a show in the first 45. Is he on the wing or more centrally this match?

Think we will get Isco.
At least we are active in the market early, much, much better so far than last summers fiasco.

Lets not forget the Kaka-fiasco where we were used by Berlisconi like we were a 15 year old girl!

having said that £100m well saved.

It also gave Beckscum the opportunity to stick his rag-bag nose into proceedings and publicly denigrate City.

Yeh like against Sunderland when he scored the equalising goal that earned us a draw we wouldn't have won the league without.

yeah because when the match started he was playing on the left wing...

the ball rolled to him and he scored. he's shocking on the wing.
Still here.

Gotta disagree with you.

Me too, I don't think anyone had any idea about our new owners and what they were bringing to the table either.

It was an amazing day though.

I'm sure we all thought the same but we're just fans, we don't claim to be in the know about what's happening regarding transfers Ballague does.

I'd take Marcotti's word sooner than Ballague's tbh.

The one player I want us to sign desperately this summer is Isco. If we get him and no one else, I'll be made up.

The thing with Isco is, the more I watch him, the more I think he could be a balon d'or contender within a few years. The lad is like a young Iniesta with goals, amazing player and so young too.

We need to pull out all guns for this kid, missing out on him could be a huge regret in a few years.

This needs to happen.

agreed, although i wonder how he would react to getting kicked to fuck by everton type teams. silva is one of the rare spanish midgets who are willing to get stuck in.

I honestly knew little about him when we were first connectet with him and I've seen little to suggest that he's a player that will dominate football for years to come. I'm not saying he's bad, quite the contrary but he seems to be a bit like a nice piece of clothing that you think will complete your wardrobe but in all honesty, it's not like there's a future lack of good looking clothes coming up.

I think the morality of my metaphord is that there's quality and then there's hype. And nice looking clothes.

A day which I'd only better with a time machine taking me back 15 years, a lot of baby oil and a threesome with the Minogue sisters. (Although the first FA cup semi, the FA Cup Final, the 1-6 and Agueroooo push it very close).

If my wife's reading, I meant a musical threesome and my wedding day and the birth of the kids were obviously far better.

I've watched footballers boosted by hype, Neymar, amazingly number 9 highest ever transfer, now of Barca, is a good example of one of those.

Watching Isco however reminds me of watching a young Spaniard rip us a new one in the Thomas cook trophy some years ago... Raw but you could see he would be the business. That kid was Silva... and I think Isco could be MUCH better.

Hype put aside if we miss out on him, we WILL regret it. Isco is the real deal.

Ok, then I guess there's more flesh to it, so to speak. What would you say is his thing then? What's so special about him? I obviously haven't noticed anything but I'm not the most avid watcher of Spanish football either.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

He and Thiago are the main players for the U21,s. He has had a good tournament so far and scored a brilliant goal.
The lad is great, we should get him and allow him to improve his trade with our squad. Eventually he will be a regular and add real threat for our team. I see him as a young Mata.
