I'm not saying he's bad, quite the contrary but he seems to be a bit like a nice piece of clothing that you think will complete your wardrobe but in all honesty, it's not like there's a future lack of good looking clothes coming up.

I think the morality of my metaphord is that there's quality and then there's hype. And nice looking clothes.

I've watched footballers boosted by hype, Neymar, amazingly number 9 highest ever transfer, now of Barca, is a good example of one of those.

Watching Isco however reminds me of watching a young Spaniard rip us a new one in the Thomas cook trophy some years ago... Raw but you could see he would be the business. That kid was Silva... and I think Isco could be MUCH better.

Hype put aside if we miss out on him, we WILL regret it. Isco is the real deal.

Ok, then I guess there's more flesh to it, so to speak. What would you say is his thing then? What's so special about him? I obviously haven't noticed anything but I'm not the most avid watcher of Spanish football either.

What is special about him is he is another Iniesta/Mata/Silva at barely 21 years old.

I'm not even saying he could be like them, he is like them, now. In 5 years he will be the maestro of Spain and one of the top 5 mids in the world.

Today we could get him for £25 million or less, in 5 years, he will be double/triple that. However by that point, should we not move now, he will be at Barca or Madrid and out of our reach. They will never let a player like Isco go when they have him.

Mark my words, if we sign him he will be our player of the season, perhaps even prem player of the season next year. Bold claims on my part but he is that good.

This is the one deal city need to make happen.

Do you follow him frequently or is this from watching CL and under 21's?

Mainly from Champs and U21's. Have stumbled across and watched a Malaga La Liga game or two, especially when we were linked heavily to Pelle.

This said don't take just my word for it, check out the in depth analysis from the Spanish based sports journos, Sid Lowe, Graham Hunter and Guillem Balague on Isco. Especially check out Christian Machowski, he is the Malaga based journo. All journos twitters can be found with a simple google name search.

All agree though, Isco is a gem.

Caught him a few times for playing Malaga. Sometimes you wouldn't see much of him as the other players would be making an effort but with limited quality, then he'd pop out of nowhere and just ooze class, its so obvious how good he is and his potential. I like that hes not afraid to try stuff and rarely looks like a tit.

From what I have seen, I really rate the lad. I don't think he will be an immediate success due because he will need time to get used to the PL, but, last third of the season, his second season, etc, he will be class.

We are going to have so many options next season. Our bench is going to be amazing and full of game changers that we have missed. Can not wait for pre-season to begin and watch them all in action in friendlies, then kick on and win the PL.

It's from YouTube plus the effects of a long rumoured transfer.

You end up with weirdo's wetting their knickers over the thought of someone they really dont know much about and haven't seen much of, finally signing for us.

It is hard not to get excited with all the news this month, especially compared to last seasons pre-season.

My knickers are not soaked yet though, but definitely a little trickle came out.

Although, he hasn't signed for us.

Anyone know how Danny Mills feels about the likelihood of us snaring him?

Cheers

Hopefully Manuel's appointment will persuade the kid to join. "Manuel Pellegrini is my footballing father" is as flirty as it gets though, the tramp.

It might take years to kill them all and move the Palestinians back into the occupied territories.

Article 5 hours ago says he will decide his future after the tournament in Israel. (Announce it I think he means!)
