That article is crazy. It has a negative title saying he's going to RM but will be loaned back to Malaga next season. Then it goes on to say how unattractive RM is to Isco and how City is better. Bizarre.

These guys dont sound too good,
“Specifically interest from Madrid and City? Well, yes, there are two proposals on the table. I hope to decide soon because I have a contract with Malaga.

“It is clear that both Manchester City and Real Madrid are great clubs. I want this to end as well as possible for me and for Malaga.
“Are the two offers real? They are on the table, yes.”

It is rumoured that Manuel Pellegrini has tried to convince Isco to follow him from La Rosaleda to Eastlands.

“No I have not talked with him. I heard of the news of his move on the internet, when it happened, but he did not call me.

“He is a great coach and I hope he does well in England. He has done an impressive job with Malaga as he has done with previous clubs and surely he will do so there too.

“Will his presence affect my decision? It is true that I already know Pellegrini, I know how he works and he has been instrumental in my career so far, in the two years I have been with him at Malaga.

“It’s a plus that we have worked together before, but nothing is definitive.”

I feel like if we really wanted to do everything to get him Pellegrini would have been speaking to him for awhile to state his desire to reunite. Hmm..
Going to be a long week.

Maria is very close to Real so I take this story seriously. Also the point is well made; they already have Ozil who's a very good player in that position. Why not concentrate on Suarez, Bale or Cavani?

Yeah it's a sound point. Although we too have some playmakers in that area as well but I do see him getting more time here (and that's being unbiased)

You get weirder by the day.

Ha ha ha, you nutter. I'm merely asking what peoples thoughts are regarding us actually getting him, rather than people just wanting him. Some believe the deal has been done while some think that Real maybe his chosen station.

Me, I think he's holding out for Real but is perpared to follow his father, if we cough up the dough.

If we had Silva and Ozil we wouldn't need Isco - Real just don't need him. The only thing that might sway it is the Spanish connection but I think we're leading the way personally. I actually like how he isn't committing himself when asked leading questions by the media.

I don't know.

The longer it goes on, the more I think he won't come.

Reminds me too much of Hazard.

I think Pelligrini will be the key factor. He wants to be assurred adequate game time.
Pelligrini rates him; so there is probably no better manager to play under.
I think we stand a very good chance of getting him.

Possibly bollox as I have no idea who the guy Paco Gonzalez is, this was posted on Marca's transfer gossip, couldn't see mention of it anywhere?

Is it Johnstaustel our Spanish speaker?

04:18 PM Real Madrid have agreed a deal for Málaga midfielder Isco, 21, who will be on loan at Málaga next season, according to Paco González (Cadena COPE).

Like I say probably and hopefully bollox

Can you honestly see Isco agreeing to another season at Malaga? I'm sorry but that's not credible.

Agree. Isco's profile has risen loads and he wants to move on. I also can't see a club like Real Madrid spending £30 odd million to send a player out on loan. Madrid are a club of star signings and they love to make a show. Signing the hottest prospect in the world and then sending him out on loan is not their style at all. Calling that one bullshit.

I don't get the impression that he's been holding out, more that he's been taking the Spain U21's seriously. We all know how the press can twist a quick answer that meant little in context to any thing they want.

I do believe it's 70/30 in our favour though now the millennium falcon is on board

while manchester is what it is...

where exactly does madrid have some kind of cultural superiority? maybe it is a cleaner, nicer city, being a capital and all but still.

he's 21, all he is interested in is football, money and pussy.

What I mean is that he'd prefer to go to Real and is waiting for a realistic bid.

He's 21!

And I know now-a-days footballers are meant to be mature at that age, but it will come down to whether or not he is able to cope with a move abroad being so young.

Loads have done it and have been successful, loads have done and have failed.

His family will have a big say and if they pull at the heart strings, he will remain in Spain. If they support him and wish him well, there is a strong possibility he will come to us.

Nothing is certain in the world of football, just hopes and dreams. They either become true, or destruct around you.
