All these players would sign for City, but we obviously are not flicking our fingers properly.
I suggest we get rid of the Spanish blokes as they obviously feel they have to enter into negotiations & actuially try to persuade players to sign for us rather than clubs like Real Madrid, but we know, all we have to do is flick our fingers.
Finger clicking . Better package, we lose Isco we have found another way to come up short again, if he decides against coming to us.
The head honchos will want answers, Marwood has got to the table with agents of players so did Cookie,If we fail with Cavani and Isco we need a re-think. W dont see B.Munich failing or PSG, who looking in look like the Next Chelsea in a manager every 18 months. They must have a top team behind the scenes, as the squad they have have been convinced.
So basically, Isco will just sign for whoever offers him the most money ?

Surely his relationship with pellegrini will be a considerable factor, so it's not all about money.

i hope not, agents care about the % thye are getting and Madrid is a closed door forever if hesays No to them. As I said Barca not being in the mix gives us the biggest chance to get a player of this type, fail and we are gonna get panned.

Well Marca have just printed that Pellegrini could still seal this in our favour.
If we pull this off, all concerned deserve a fucking medal, not to get shit off people if we fail.
If this lad signs for Real, & he is good enough, he is made & will have our Dave's shirt in the Spain team.

It seems that Isco has rejected the opportunity to join Real Madrid, and will soon become a Manchester City player. While that’s not terrific news for the other clubs in the Premier League, it would be a huge signing for the division as a whole.
For the sake of argument, let’s assume that this is happening, and focus on what kind of impact Isco will have at the Etihad Stadium.
As discussed previously, Manuel Pellegrini favours the below formation, and will almost certainly set his attacking-midfield out as per the graphic.
I talk a lot on this side about the importance of attacking fluidity, and the value of having interchangeable players in advanced positions.
What City now have, heading into next season, are three players who can change positions at will, and who all carry an equal but varied threat to the opposition. Jesus Navas is far less comfortable in central areas than the other two, but he still has the attributes to create big issues for defenders in that part of the pitch – pace, great control, good final-ball.
By and large, defending in the Premier League is about stopping certain players whilst maintaining a shape – preventing the creative, ball-playing types from influencing a game, but without becoming vulnerable elsewhere. Last season, when a side faced Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City, their main priority would have been to prevent David Silva from becoming isolated with a single defender – hassle him, take away his space, and an opponent had a good chance of blunting City’s attacking progress.
Now though, how does a team match-up with a side who, realistically, have three players who need to be in double-coverage at all times? And, significantly, that’s without even factoring-in Sergio Aguero.
At this stage of the Summer, although admittedly with plenty of transfer movement still to come, there isn’t a side in the Premier League who have sufficient defensive strength to deal with that.
One of your more intelligent posts Carl. Well done.

Real, at the moment, is a far greater pull for most players and the thought of Isco having a chance to go there would probably make his footballing dream come true. I'd even suggest that he'd take a far lesser wage just for the chance.
This is not to say that we cannot offer him something more appealing. Coming to us offers further development with less pressure to perform than at Real with also the better proposition of being a first choice player. We also have the 'Project' with long term stability. And then there's our hispanic contingent as well as the Pellegrini affect which could be crucial in any talks, lessening the cultural blow.
For me it's a 60/40 in favour of Real but in the end it will all be down to who offers the greater funds to Malaga and which club is going to give Isco the love and attention to thrive.
