I agree, I think they would be decent additions to the squad and they score goals, people think we should be buying superstars an paying stupid money when we need stability and players that can slot in when needed

Love to see all the people slagging off Guidetti as a sick note and a flop. If we were signing a 21 year old who'd scored 20 and made 8 assists in 23 games for Feyenoord, we'd all be jumping for joy. Because he's from the academy, he gets slagged off.

With a bit of luck, he will be as successful as another player who scored almost 1 in 1 in the Dutch league before moving to the north west, albeit with a serious injury between the goals and the move.

Maybe he's just not a big enough name for some of you who've been brought up on galacticos.

Urgh, everytime (about 4 times admittedly) i have seen this guy play he has been no more than average.

Cannot we just not attract the likes of cavani, lewendowski etc?

Also not sure why we arent in for higuain.

*sigh*

We have Aguero and Dzeko. Argueably 2 of Europes best forwards.

If we are not selling either of them, we just can't expect to be buying Cavani or Lewondowski or Higuian. We are in the market for 3rd choice strikers, not key men, we have them already.

Negredo, Osvaldo would be more than adequate as rotation options.

We just can't buy all the best players in the world guys and expect them to be ok with being benched.....

Many times when I've seen Cavani he has been average. Other times not so. Same with Aguero.

Btw, if we are talking to Roma, there are several players I would say are more likely targets than Osvaldo.

relying on dzeko and aguero alone for 60+ games would be sheer madness, we need another top striker for rotation, that's not considering injuries, suspensions, fatigue etc.
Of course we need another top striker, not a second rate option.

Agree we need another striker and I think a lad like Negredo, a 1 in 2 striker across his career, while not a big name constitutes a top striker.

Struggle to understand (not directing this at you sheblue) why the focus is on the big names. Hell of a lot of quality to be had away from the "worldy" tier, a hell of a lot of players who with a good season at us, would end up considered "worldy".

It's not all about names.

we need goals, why not get the real deal the others will have to deal with it or become the spare part as the scouse cunt found out at the swamp, look forward not backwards. Maybe we have been told by the top tier players thanks but no thanks, Tevez was unique, however his work rate and goals has to be replaced or we are worse off, simples.Goals win games, the best forwards cost big dough. Dortmund have a dilema cash in or nothing,, maybe he has said no to us, but for me he is the real deal. No biger games than the Champs league and he did vey well. Before anyone thinks the final was a let-down. Tranny was marked out of the game by Yaya in Rome as a makeshift centre half. BM get him next yr for nowt, forget it as our plans will be building again. From us arriving at the top table we seem to have stalled.

Not backwards, stalled. IMO. Big earners out fine, piss poor ending last season, for means we need top tier players to move us on. Negredo fine player, Top tier ? Navas, good player, Top tier ? Fernandinio looks a class signing, in an area we have a lot of players and we saw how a player like Oscar dipped in and out last season. Goals mean ££pending till, There is no short cut to a 25 goal man. Negredo did it in a leage of 15 teams AM BARCA AND RM were so far ahead it was like Scotland. BM won the lot and still Pep is looking to thank some of that squad with the curly finger of see ya all the best.

Without a doubt in decline, just look at us, spending £50 million before pre season, one of the players brought in being a world cup winner... with a 30 goal last season striker to follow him.....

Doooomed doomed I tell thee!!

Navas is defo top tier. No doubt. Name me 10 wingers better than him.

Not spending silly money and sacking off half the squad doesn't mean we have stalled btw. It just means we are being run a bit better.

Pelle will get our lads firing. Major squad surgery just isn't needed.

Navas, good player no goals. Still happy with him

Ribbery
Robben
Moura
Bale
El Sharaway can do both roles
Pedro
Hazzard
Ronaldo again C/F
Lennon THROW IN
schurle
Di Maria
Ozul

Not about better it is a team game they all match him for your question

Wingers mate. Out and out wingers, not sure all of them would qualify.

However a decent list.

Navas well and truly is top tier though (and better than Lennon). Will be a key man for us next season!
