Sorry mate, but who?

Julio Buffarini a winger/midfielder who plays for San Lorenzo in Argentina.

Sorry mate, the nearest I get is fucking the Ascensions off for some real shit place. The Congo's nice at this time of year!

Beefer's you asked the ?

I was sort of trying to get across that I'd never heard of him. Obviously didn't come across like that mate, sorry ;-)

Never ceases to amaze me the number of morons these days who quote Twitter (just Twitter!) as a source, both in the media and general public.

Ahh the Twitter ITK. Last year there were a couple of pranksters posing as Agents, who got up to 20k plus followers, & the bollox they spread was picked up by several journos who ran stories with it. When the pranksters fezzed up & confirmed it was all made up bollox, it simply highlighted how the twitter ITK has replaced the bullshit story man in the local pub.

If you want a laugh, spend 2 mins on the bluemoon transfer forum - there's more people supposedly ITK on there than within the CIA, when in truth its a prime example of a few lonely poeples craving for attention being satisfied in the public domain.

I think Aguero's 1 year extension, is an acknowledgement that he will do 1 more year with us and then has a gentlemens agreement that he will be allowed to go next summer, with Real the most likely destination.

Barca have just stumped up major dosh for Neymar & apparently are about to pay up again for Thiago Silva, so says my mates in Spain anyway, so its a pipe dream to suggest they could even afford Aguero who is worth well north of £50m given what Cavani has gone for this summer.

With Barca paying up big fees for the likes of Ibra, Cesc, Neymar, Alba, Villa, Thiago et al, their much vaunted "system" still hides the fact they always pay up huge dosh just like everyone else.

Is anyone (mase not included) concerned that Kolarov is still our only back up for Gael?

Zabaleta can play there. In fact, he's our second best left back already. Only thing he's missing is the ability to thump a free kick into the wall

Sadly though, we're increasingly seeing more posts on here starting with 'According to Twitter' or 'On Twitter'.

City apparently agreed terms with Jovetic. Not far away from agreement with Fiorentina either. Very close.

This according to the well placed, Tancredi Palmeri.

What do we think? Jovetic a better option than Negredo/Osvaldo?

a different option as opposed to a better option (although i'm more excited about jovetic, who could still have some sell on value at the end of his contract should he sign with us). my guess is he'll rotate with aguero and possibly guidetti as a 2nd striker off of a more typical centre forward (dzeko/negredo), with support midfielders like silva, navas, nasri, etc.

I was reading that Jovetic played almost exclusively behind the striker, in the hole, for Fiorentina last season, so with the assumed Pelle tactics, he would make sense.

Age is v. good, quality is v. good, looks a top signing on paper. Struggle to see Negredo or Osvaldo at City now though if we sign this guy.

Perhaps points to Pelle seriously considering Guidetti as 4th choice... hmmm...

Jovetic and Negrado, then maybe another centrehalf and we're done.

So, Jovetic, Negredo, Pepe then.

Making our summer activity, Fernandinho, Navas, Jovetic, Negredo, Pepe.

Not bad imo. Far far far far better than last year if it comes to pass.

Just had a laugh at the Liverpool press conference featuring Kolo and Mignolet. Time was that we used to sign Liverpools cast-offs and consider it a "coup" - happily the boot is very much on the other foot these days.

Osvaldo would have been an absolute twat! Negredo is far for me to be a top player but would have been so expansive! I'm very happy if JoJo would be a Citizen. He's a first or a second striker without problems, an excellent fist touch, a very good friend of Nastasic too! Alleluiah it'll be a Top City with him this season!

also per mediaset (the outlet where all the jovetic is coming from), the proposed deal is for 21.5m and jovetic would be on roughly 70k per week. very reasonable terms IMO.

I know and they were always shit. Mcmahon, Clough (super shit), McPointalot and Blobby Fowler. To think Bernstein was ousted because he refused to sanction the signing of Blobby only for KK and Wardle to undermine him.
