Looking a strong possibility.

And Pepe and Ibra, also Bale.

and Thiago. Also, Neymar. He's been to a week of pre-season and realized snubbing god's own was just irresponsible. He had no idea Jesus was supporting us now, so....

Rodney Kongolo:

Manchester City to fend off Chelsea and Liverpool to sign 'Dutch Patrick Vieira' Rodney Kongolo
14 Jul 2013 16:54

The 15-year-old midfielder is expected to travel to Manchester this week to finalise a deal

Manchester City are ready to win the race for Feyenoord’s teenage midfielder Rodney Kongolo – the kid dubbed Holland’s Patrick Vieira, writes Alan Nixon of the Sunday People.

The 15-year-old is expected to come to Manchester this week as City try to beat off Liverpool and Chelsea.

Liverpool had been thought to lead the race to sign the youngtser but City have emerged as primary candidates now.

Kongolo is under contract in Rotterdam but the fee for him may be as low as £500,000 in compensation.

Rodney's older brother Terence also plays for Feyenoord, having made nine appearances for the Eredivisie side.

It's the Mirror quoting the People, so we may never even have looked at him.

To be dubbed the 'new Vieira' is a real accolade but it's very hard to tell how it will pan out at that age. From his PoV though, and looking at our plans for the future, would you really choose the likes of Liverpool or Chelsea over us?

This will make most happy :

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... firms.html

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Brazilian defender Maicon is to leave the club this summer.
The right-back arrived from Inter Milan last summer for £3million with a glowing reputation, but now finds himself third in the pecking order at the club behind Pablo Zabaleta's and Micah Richards.

The 31-year-old is reportedly on £100,000-a-week, with Pellegrini already offloading several other high earners at the Etihad.

Maicon has never really recovered from the humiliating evening against Gareth Bale in 2010.
Bale scored a hat-trick against in the Champions League up against Maicon at the San Siro, before inspiring Spurs to a 3-1 win over the Italian giants two weeks later at White Hart Lane.

That nonsense about him not recovering from Bale is such bollox, he was up against him for City and kept him quiet most of the match. Can't say I will miss him though, we didn't need him when we signed him but he turned out to be cover for Micah when he picked up his injury (even though Zabs was Mr. Indestructable for most of the season)

With a glowing repuatation, what are they trying to say?

I like Maicon but he's not in our plans. Good to see Pellers doing the business and clearing out Mancini's go to boys.

Onething with Mancini was he gave way more chances to the players he requested for. Even if they were shit he gave them more opportunities to prove that he didnt make bad signings.

That's why Lescott was dropped when I thought he'd been our best defender over 2 seasons.

Bayern agreed a fee for Thiago. Glad he didnt go to United. I also read that Pep wants Ozil at Bayern.
I dont know what this guy is doing to the treble winning midfield over there.

He might be considering playing a 4-6-0 formation.

Moyes would be well within his rights to kick off with that figure and right that a big club are trying to turn his players head!!
