With them both leaving at the same time (well, their current jobs anyway), I do wonder if their hands were forced rather than walked. No need for Gill if there's no need for big deals and Taggart would've seen the writing on the wall. And with the Moyes appointment, a bloke who can run a club on a decent budget but nothing special, then you could possibly join the dots together.

I mean all the proof I need to all this is just that statement by him about Rooney putting in transfer request just before he fucled off and knowing Moyes/Rooney history he just left that there after pretty much lighting a spark under it ... now why would he do that? And since then he's gone missing somewhere,[highlight]not a beep[/highlight], is probably sitting somewhere laughing that all's going according to the plan ...
